14h isn't ideal for me with the long stages, but it could work if necessary during the week. But at weekends no chance.
I'm also open to 11h, 12h or 13h edition, that would fit a bit better at the weekends.
But i'd prefer 10h over all :)

I'm recently more of a an afternoon team due to real-life, but riding the Andes in general might be at 80% for me currently.

I prefer Andes in the morning, other times don't work for me.

As Donks is throwing around numbers and I'm a little bored atm while also being a numbers guy, let me show some perspective.

I took Vuelta as a base for people interested in riding longer, harder Tours. Last year roughly 70% of teams that participated in Vuelta rode the Andes.

This year we obviously have some more teams riding, wavelings, some comebackers etc. So we had one edition more for Vuelta. If we again say 70% of those teams will be riding Andes, this could be spread around 3 or 4 editions seen in the attachment. The edition with 4 people looks kinda bad, especially for the afternoon. Yes, you could say some teams from 18h Vuelta will be riding 14/15h Andes, but I think most of the 18h guys would rather switch to the later evening than afternoon.

The 3 editions variant shows quite high numbers, I merged 9+14h for the morning or afternoon edition, and I also merged 18h+20h for the 19h edition. The merged numbers could obviously be lower in reality due to some teams not riding at all due to timing. Participation could be even lower considering the latest judgement of the profiles.

To me the conclusion is:
1.Are we okay with having 8-13 teams for 3 Andes edition while also risking not giving some teams the opportunity to ride Andes in the afternoon / morning.
2. Or do we prefer to give everyone the opportunity to ride, but risk having 2 editions with really low participation (7 and 5 expected Teams).

For reference 2024:

Participation Rate 24 Andes / Vuelta
Morning 64%
Afternoon 63%
Evening 111%
Late evening 75%

Here to discuss about the Andes parallel short tour, can we move it from 20 to 21 at least? Giving a real intermediate hour for aftenoon/night players that can't rode Andes?

Also can't wait to discover what the 2 fantasy tours will be!

Would be nce if at least the stage races could be announced in advance for form settings.

Most-likely I wont ride Andes. The stages are too long for me and the race too hard for my team...

In my role as departing backup fantasy race planner... I will listen to suggestions for the fantasy stage races in November :)

Having a fast resume of the other 3D we have this:

- East Java Tour (3 days, 4 stages)
- Tour of Amhara (5 days, Link)
- Nafusa Mountains Tour (5 days, Link)
- Caracas Winter Tour (4 days)
- Nagasaki (3 days, Link)
- Tour of Taiwan (5 days, ITT, Link)
- Twin Peaks (4 days, ITT, Link)

With an inclination against the time trials tours for the first one since we already got pavé with tt and libia with tt

Also me and NoMoreLulz proposed to open Lippe Tour to everyone since it was fun but only open to Div6 teams
+ I asked to move second tour during the Andes at h21 instead h20

Fast resume end

Okay, I will make an actual suggestion for the tours in November:

2.-5. Tour of Taiwan - I know it has an ITT again, but it fits perfectly, ITT might not be as decisive as in Lybia and is something for everyone (except sprinters maybe - they will have the later tour). As an option I could imagine Nagasaki here as well, but only 3 days.
15.-20. Querétaro - 6 days, no ITT, sprints and pavé. Optional Tour of Dakar (viewtopic.php?f=14&t=10562#p130577) - 5 days battle between escapees and sprinters

Of course we could switch it as well, but then we will have a overlap of the first Tour and Andes.

I would love to have Dakar during Andes, seems a solid tour for players with no climbers

I don’t see a problem with a tour overlapping the Andes. People who rides Andes needs another tour this month for what? Even more money?

Based on all the feedback, I'd select

2 Nov - 5 Nov: Twin Peaks
16 Nov - 20 Nov: Tour of Amhara
29 Nov - 4 Dec: Vuelta de Querétaro

Regarding Andes, leaning towards: 10-19-22 (morning feedback stronger than afternoon feedback)

This would make the parallel tour (planned Tour of Amhara): 14-21

Let me know if any strong objections, or anything from the above does not make sense.

Ohterwise I will implement that with the final PDF tomorrow.
