A new race in Canada! Probably not the best place as winter is coming, but I am sure that the inhabitants of this small village will make everybody feel warm and at home!
Nakusp Classic
Nakusp is the name of this small canadian village located on the shores of Upper Arrow Lake.
Having both the lake river and mountains with lot of forests, this place is quite perfect to relax in the middle of the nature.
What I am talking about? Well, this thing basically

The race - Well, it is a circuit, 14kms repeated for ten times, 3 GPM points. There are not sieb kms, the maximum for RSF is a +5%. This makes the race a bit difficult for sprinters and suitable for classics and also attacks.
The most difficult part will be, without any doubt, the uphill of the km 8, a 5% media but with steep percentages at the beginning. If an attack is succesful here at the last lap, will be really difficult to catch it considering the long downhill.
That's the profile of the hill (probably even deserved a +6, but considering we repeat the circuit 10 times, thought the +5 effect was enough):
The Circuit - We start from the Chamber of Commerce of Nakusp (a really pictoresque place
http://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-QuXCF ... h306-k-no/ ) on the 6 Avenue NW going North and leaving the lake behind.
A few hundreds meter and the road now is Canyon Road going around the Nakusp Secondary School. We follow the street until we reach an ESSO station (

Go on on BC-6 and at km 4.5/5 we find the Centennial Golf Course of Nakusp, just on the summit of the first hill, where we plan to have the guys of the team giving water and food!
About 800m more and we turn right into Brouse Loop Road, here it is a short downhill/flat part that will lead to the most difficult hill of the day to enter Billings Road and then the downhill through the Crescent Bay Road to turn right again into the BC-6.
Now we have the lake at our left, this should be the panorama
https://plus.google.com/photos/photo/10 ... 8852335618, with Nakusp in sight.
At this point just follow the road and enter in Nakusp until you reach the cross with the 6 Avenue NW, turn right and there's the finish line!
Organizers here are so excited that are already planning a 2019 version!
