Sprint - Following a "losing" rider (KohKong 15h)

In the KohKong Tour 15h we had following case in the sprint:

Baltabekov and Piton were following Art until 250m where Art "lost" the sprint and disappeared because Romoc wanted to make space for another guy. The 2 guys had no one to follow then anymore and just rode / lost lot of space. I think its quite unrealistic this way, if you follow someone that loses the sprint they should just hang to the next guy or something like that. It didnt really matter today but this could be even abused in some situations.

Maybe we can change that if the code allowes it?
