Re: May 2025
It's classified as a b category stage, which means the points are "a and b categories (first 15 classified): 50,
35, 25, 18, 14, 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1"
35, 25, 18, 14, 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1"

No they are not:Hoefs Cycling Team wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 9:25 amI request: As we pursue the real Giro. points at the finish today and tomorrow will have to be adjusted, because these are officially hill stages
General Classification by points – “Maglia Ciclamino” At each stage finish, according to the finish order and the stage category, the following points will be awarded: a and b categories (first 15 classified): 50, 35, 25, 18, 14, 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
- “a” category: stages 4 - 12 - 18 - 21 (stages presenting no particular difficulty)- “b” category: stages 5 - 6 - 13 - 14 (stages presenting low difficulties)

Re: May 2025
Alright...tnx for the answers
Re: May 2025
We can talk about the giro strade bianche stage now, for the guys who did not want it to be selective, cause in real life it would end in a big group. Did it?
2024-01-30 Big Donkey Elaska 1 Good move, good reading of the race, just the sprint didn't work out. High quality racing.
Re: May 2025
Actually I think Donkey was right. The problem was not that it was selectiv, the problem was that it was too selectiv.
Re: May 2025
Yep, much more happened than I thought. I thought pretty much nothing would happen, helpers still strong enough to control, was clearly wrong about that, Even if of course a lot of what happened had to do with crashes and flat tires in the end.
I still think this design was not correct. * siebs too., 0* not, but 3* 4* 5* etc is critical too. The big "it depends how you ride it" argument actually works better with the * version, with ** it's automatic siebs everywhere all the time. But well, arguments by buzzwords, the sad thing is of course that some people actually seem to think in buzzwords. Then of course the rules were not actually followed, (the rules that aren't written in stone, but some sort of consensus that is generally regarded as ok in gravel passages)but misapplied here. Including the Strade Bianche special solution, rules for another race. Complete lack of flexibility here, complete lack of attempts to find the best solutions, it all simply has to be one way and that's it.
Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!
Basics reform: Give blue a chance!
Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!
Got a carrot from FL. But they threaten to take it away now.

Re: May 2025
Big influence for the GC in 2/4 editions, preliminary decision even. In 1 edition smaller gaps with some influence in GC in the last edition even weaker pave guys could gain time on strongers just a small influence on GC and the climbers even came very close to win it.

Norway issues with tunnels are not corrected yet. also all stages still categorized as flat (except if that's normal)
