Thierry keeps the important skills, now even a candidate for MSR. Alex totally motivated for the Cipressa, not so much for the downhill after the Poggio. The Fürst is getting ready to become a 80-70. Still don't if that's good or not, but I am sure it's a princely experience. The rest as expected, not positive surprises though.2025-03-20 Thierry Tiendrébéogo TimeTrial -1

Novelli -3, including mountain, his main skill. He's an asshole anyway
Almirall good, -1 only, downhill, can live with that.
Koopman-2 at 34. keeps flat at least.
Bucquoy uses his third minus training to lose a sprint point. Far from ideal, 2 days before Sanremo. Oh, well, he'll have to win with 78 then.
Youngsters
Lanfredini continues his training, this time down, TT. 51 now, 19 successful trainings in a row, after all downtraining TT is positive too. Makes him lighter.
Toulet sprint, good
Lüthi mountain 67 now, good
Onkelinx flat, now 55-77 all in plan
Kebede the safe double, 58-69 with 68 sprint, all in plan too.
Basically the basics, nothing more, nothing less
Bucquoy down is bad, but on the other hand Toulet took another sprint, ok, higher percentage for Toulet, but his not in the automatic expected category anymore, so getting that plus is nice anyway... still kind of neutral result in the end, Bucquoy is not expected to be leader for long anymore after all. Toulet more important... except Saturday, argh!

Koopman -1, sprint, doesn't matter.
Youngsters
Uru! At 31 mountain, now 75-76, excellent!
Glück loses TT, will happen a few more times, still 53
Ganambarr loses his second downhill, time to cover it soon. but maybe not yet, one more risk hoping to get 0.7 more pavé
Lanfredini mountain, now 61-85, very nice
Toulet sprint, very nice too, now 78
Lüthi climbing 68-76 now, good too, next month important
Onkelinx flat, 55-78 now, will be useful for Bucquoy-Kebede soon.
Kebede double 100%, now 57-69 with 69 sprint, next month training still thinking, go risk and hope for mountain and sprint or just safety sprint.
Uru makes it a good training, very nice to have him at 75. Ganambarr stuck at his level not too good, but on the other hand he already did his job, our first Omloop Het Nieuwsblad win is worth a lot. But winning Flanders and Roubaix would be nice to, but we fear a bit more pavé (and mountain) would have been necessary.

Re: Training
After a few rather good trainings this one is absolutely horrible. Downtraining mostly ok, just a bit more downhill lost than I wanted. Uptraining very bad. Mendiburu the only exception with a surprise flat training. The sprint department is happy with the MSR victory and continues being lazy. Other than that, this was just a great training. Fürchtegott and Lautaro both with the mountain and flat double trouble, Santiago too. Karl becomes a useful flat rider with time while Yossi and Sten want less salary for April. Novelli -2, keeps mountain, which is nice
Almirall -3. Sniff, my favorite rider, lately overshadowed by Roy and now by Lanfredini too, -3 a bit much, but keeping mountain and flat is nice.
Koopman -1 irrelevant, even if it's flat
Bucquoy -1 flat is ok, better than sprint
+
Lachance, downhill is nice too 80 now.
Lüthi, 69-76, first of the 4 critical trainings done. 71% now
Onkelinx flat, 55-79 now
Kebede mountain only, 74-90% now... will keep that sprint risk. Even if sprint really is the more important skill.
Winzenried double, Here we change to no risk, from 93-100 to 100-66, flat flat flat for him! He's already our third best pavé rider!
Lüthi good, Lanfredini first time nothing at all. Kebede missing the sprint is a bit annoying... but Lüthi trained so that's ok

Tarabesh desperate to get chance to defend his Giro win and stays at 87 mountain again. Would have much prefered him to lose more in exchange for Poggiolini training. Becze -3 absolutely horrible, especially downtraining mountain.
Toktybay training downhill doesn't help much. Hwang training flat a bit better at least. Then Mendiburu with a double downtraining. Losing TT is nice, losing dowhill not at all.
Young guys very average too. Pretty much the expected value, but nothing that stands out.

Thats really the worst training ever in history of RSF. Mohammed taking 100%, the only other + is a cover for Fanta who hasn't trained for months now. Hochreiter missing climbing for the second time in a row is the killer. Downtrainings are also as bad as they can be. Decided to start posting in the training section as well.
The young classics develop nicely and as expected, and Norbert's training continues beyond all expectations. Downtraining for Sergio and Shankar is somehow expected at 34. Sergio's hurts before the pave monuments, of course. Nikolay was lazy in up-training and continues to be so in down-training. Re: Training
For once, it's the old guys that have the spotlight. Thierry is so stoked that he's still in the line up for RVV tomorrow, he kept his most important skills: mountain, flat and downhill. In hindsight, it was a great decision, not to sell him for some young rider that could barely be of any help for the Tour of Flanders. In the meantime, Sten got cheaper for the Giro, Alex gets ready for the Scheldeprijs and the rest is developping according to plan. Still, the sprint department, esp. Caldedonio and Quincy, refuse to improve any further... But then again, Team FL embraces the challenge and Alex has shown many times, that he's also a winning sprinter in an isolated position.2025-04-05 Thierry Tiendrébéogo Sprint -1
