Clasica Jaen, when designed (no info yet about this year route) will provide another "pavé" race (** max as its gravel; but close to the end)flockmastoR wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 9:20 pmFantasy One Day Races
Special interest races are already in the planned calendar, based on the lack of TTT, another ITT is planned for February and 2 South American pave races (a hillier one and a flat one)
11.02. Clasica de Otavalo, hilly pave
14.02. Kalpitiya - Puttalam ITT
23.02. El Infiernito, flat pave
Will try to put online the fantasy races of the first week as well tomorrow.
ok thanks for the info, but as not really a pave race, I would stick to the 2 fantasy onesolmania wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 9:46 pmClasica Jaen, when designed (no info yet about this year route) will provide another "pavé" race (** max as its gravel; but close to the end)flockmastoR wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 9:20 pmFantasy One Day Races

They put more details on the website now finally. I helped you with IS. The KOM might be all same category? The final km can also be checked now I think.
Thanks. It's normal. That's what they do there every year (only IS, no KOM).ECS Cycling wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 9:08 pmUAE is done, profiles up for review. IS may need to be changed to KOM to represent the intermediate sprint jersey, will try to find more details on that.
Profile km by km of the two main climbs are different from last year. Maybe we should stick to a profile ?Gipfelstuermer wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2025 12:17 pmThanks. It's normal. i know i did some readjustments on the kinda circuit of stage 1 last year, so probably also put some effort into the other stages, might be a good option to use the percentages from there if the same roads are ridden as last yearolmania wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2025 1:59 pmProfile km by km of the two main climbs are different from last year. +1 especially if we put our forms in consideration of last year's %, since are the same climbs.olmania wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2025 1:59 pmProfile km by km of the two main climbs are different from last year. Even though I do not like it, the final part of the first stage is wrong. There is a final climb, the stage should finish at 196 m, which totally changes the stage's character.Gipfelstuermer wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2025 12:17 pmThanks. It's normal. "Final kilometres
The stage finale features a wide bend on a roundabout. The home straight is all uphill, around 5%."
I just used the website and did not look for a gpx, but I redrew the final from the map and saw that the last km should be +5 or at least +4.
I think it should be a +4.
not the same finish than last year; so no we did not see it yet. Higly possible that it will be a sprint; but unsure yet and probably not an usual MS.
I think that's what he meant. In case if doubt, that is good practice. But if you have good reason for your percentages, that is also fine.ECS Cycling wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2025 10:34 pm
So are you saying I should use the percentages from last year?
We did not mess with WT races, we made it as accurate as possible. Yes, real-world sprinters can power through short hills unlike our sprinters who cannot (real-world sprinters win pave races as well). Does it mean we should make something that is a fight between sprinters and explosive classics contenders a pure sprint finish? From 500 m +4 or even +5 would look good, from 1000 to 500 m it is too easy to escape.
IS now available for Gran Camino - do you have time to add them?
