Stage 3: TTT with very bumpy gravel roads
Stage 7: gravel trial to Volcan El Altar
Stage 8 & 9: influences by Chachapoya culture. The Chachapoyas were part of the Inca Empire. Translated from quechuan to english Chachapoyas means "Warriors of the Clouds"
Stage 10: some old parts of el camino a las yungas (also known as el camino de la muerte) including La-Cumbre. Before reaching the death road the peloton heads south and returns to La Paz
Stage 11: all kinds of cobble, gravel and dirt roads for >50% of the stage
Stage 14: chance for a nice break at Termas Las Hediondas

Another part of my great future Andes that will never be designed used! With Gipfel using quite a bit of the same roads a few years back and now the trampolin del diablo used too, becomes more unnecessary by the year to design my Andes

More is not always better. Andes is extreme, but extreme is enough. It doesn't have to be more extreme than extreme. Otherwise you risk a one sided race. Hope it's not the case here, and it depends on the peloton at least as much as on the profiles, but maybe a good advice for the future that we don't always have to break the record in elevation gain.66.410 m of elevation, 8470 more than 2022, 410 more than 2021
Again, more is not always better. In fact, here I think it should have been less. My riders dont like these long transfers between stages without a restday. And my sponsors also dont like it. They will have to pay for the private jet necessary to arrive at the start of stages 10, 11 and 14 on time.6 countries (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina & Chile)
This comment could be for the whole tour? Personally I love it. It's something I used a lot when I designed the Andes. It makes the race harder and often a bit unpredictable. There were usually 2-4 stages WITH gravel or pavé. But now it's only 2 stages WITHOUT gravel? Is it now Campeonato de los Gravel? I mean, yes, sometimes there are these gravel climbs, almost hard to avoid them on parts of the route, but there are normal roads in the Andes, too!Stage 11: all kinds of cobble, gravel and dirt roads for >50% of the stage

Tbh it was never planned to be even more extreme than the previous ones. On my first sketches it was almost the same distance but the stages did not fit to the guidelines with 3 flat and 5 hilly stages. So I had to redo some stages. I hope I still found a good compromise to design the final kilometers for the different rider types / teams. I thought stages 2, 5, 6, 8, (12,) 14 & 15 are the ones with less pave sections
You are totally right about the amount of countries but, as you know, it's hard to decide which one is in and which one is out. There are too many places, climbs and personalities worth seeing.
Maybe your sponsors are also friends of sustainability and have an other option to travel. We, the Schnuggeritos World Tour, would be very happy to help out in this situation.
I prefer a start in the morning. 9 am suits me well, 10 am is still good. 2 pm in the afternoon would have been my 3rd choice

Probably some minor changes need to be done, it is shown as "draft" so you can see it in the "Race Editor" tab and not in the "Calendar Preview"
