Ok, criticism again.

Design: Still don't really care, functionality much more important, but even if I don't really care, I will comment.

The symbols for the different things. Don't know... I think they don't really fit. Somehow they look a bit childish compared to the rest. The rest is this new glittery modern-looking thing, then those symbols. Both the old and the new ones... A glass of beer? That strange yellow jersey that rides in the flat? The finish with the brown thing on top? Only one I really like is the pavé, ok, the clock and the bed are ok too, the rest... ? the green mountains? The new piece of paper? Not a big fan of the symbols now, but think they fit even worse with the new design.

Layout: The race log on the left top is still very bad. Race log=important. Why put it somewhere you have to go looking for it? Leave it where it is now, it's where you see it automatically.

And now to functionality:
Basically you have 2 "tactic panels" now.... Don't really see the point..
What I meant with this is:

By clicking on the symbol in the first column you get something that looks like the tactic panel, it sort of looks like twice the same thing. Of course with differences, one has drop down menus, the other not, one has all riders, one just one.. Just didn't really convince me at the time, and still really doesn't. No solution though.

Then racescreen:

Ah, you don't really need to read this, it's more for me so I don't forget how it is in the track. Getting tired of racing it and forgetting details immediately.

Right now you have. Blue with my enlightened comments.
1: Opens that sort of 1 rider tactic panel not convinced somehow. Everything is there, but looks so complicated and includes scrolling that you're better of just doing it in the tactic menu, the real one.
2: Rider name. Click on it the riders infobox opens It's a bit annoying actually in the race. Would like to have that everywhere, except maybe in the race. Possibly or very likely would get used to it and stop clicking on it.Which for the moment I do every second km... But right now would prefer to have it like now for that, use the name for following and helping That very probably is because I'm used to it..
3: The skills: I like the skills! Excellent. Ok, better ones for my riders maybe?
4: Time on the stage Fantastic. Guess for the real races will stay like now with the general and the stage.
5: Tempo Like now, click and change, good.
6: Tempotool, where you can put in tempo from or to., helping and following Very good the thing with the profile on the left. Not sure the stop tempo works though, never managed so far. But good how it shows when the tempo is planned. Mmh, thinking about it not really convinced that needs to be there actually.
7: Attacktool, where you can put in attacks, helping and following Very good the profile again. My problem is that ones I have an attack in can't take it out. Can only change the km somehow. But ok, figured I just put it in a km that has been raced already finally...Problem with those 2 is that you can do the same thing helping and following.
8: Energy: Perfect
9: Teamname Ok

What's missing is:

Form: No problem, doesn't really need to be there.
Who are you following: Again, what's wrong with the way we had it now? You see it by just holding the cursor over the rider. Right now you can't see it unless you go to the tactic menu.
Easy way for sprint, give all and intensity

Tacticmenu

Name normal
Tempo like now
Intensity like now
help like now
follow like now
fighting like now
tempo ? can't do anything somehow with that. Or then haven't figured out how.
attack Same as the second tempo. Just there for info?
Energy yep
Form bah

Ok, the big change here is: It seems you can't plan tempo from-to anymore. Now you can, then out. On purpose or just happened that way?

Ok, now read again!!!!!

You need to minimize the clicks and maximize infos and what you can do. Right now you only do it halfways somehow.

-A green attack now needs 2 clicks. First click on green, then on attack. Done.
With the new screen it would be. Click first column. Move your cursor down to that panel, click on intensity low. Escape to close that panel. Double click in the attack row. It's more complicated then now. Not good. That panel not convincing. Redo it  Or put the intensity in again .
-Attack: Now: One click. After: Double click. I like the profile thing. Think it's excellent. But why not turn the thing around? One click: Attack next km. 2 clicks, then chose the km on the profile. After all you have more time if you want to plan an attack for later. The same for tempo.
-Then following and helping possible in both places, not a big problem, but a bit confusing. But combined with the opening rider info popups that get on my nerves, I'd say make it as it is now. Click on your own rider, then help and follow. But ok, maybe that's really because I'm used to it that way. Fairly minor point.
-And add the info somewhere again when you hold the cursor over your rider. Who is he helping, who is he following, that's stuff I like to know.
-No intensity change with one click. Why? Doesn't look good right now? Correct, not really, but make something better looking, but the same place as now is possible. You want it somewhere else, ok, too, but make it possible with one click directly in the racescreen.
-Sprint: Would be nice to have it there with one click. Add another column? Click, sprint 50, click, sprint 100 etc. Ok, if you want sprint 500 or losing or take it out again, faster in the tactic menu. But nice to have it for a last second decision.
-Give all: Would be nice to have it there with one click. Add another column?

The racescreen getting to clustered might be a problem. But maybe just make it a little bit larger. And make the skill columns a bit smaller (mmh, they already look a bit smaller in the track)

But you need to have as many things doable as easily as possible. Now with intensity you make a step backwards.

I don´t agree with every issue.
A green attack now needs 2 clicks. First click on green, then on attack. Done.
With the new screen it would be. Click first column. Move your cursor down to that panel, click on intensity low
Okay, changing intensity means one click more than before. But only one click on the keyboard. Pressinga number on the keyboard don´t cost really time. Okay, at the track race it is a little bit stupid, because every rider has any number. But in real races you can open the tactic panel with a simple click on a number.
Who are you following: Again, what's wrong with the way we had it now? You see it by just holding the cursor over the rider. Right now you can't see it unless you go to the tactic menu.
Easy way for sprint, give all and intensity
Here i don´t see any disadvantage with the new layout. Pressing a number on the keyboard is faster than holding the cursor over a special column.

For sprint, fighting this should be really enough. You donßt change it often. And if you want you only need to press the number and the one mouseclick. Faster than the current layout.

As i said, intensity is the only step backwards. But not so bad as you said, because pressing a number is not really a big thing. But now it is better, yes.

And because of the icons:
These icons have to be enough until i have any possibility to have my own. If anybody is able to create some, let it know...

Hmm. I don´t know why you didn´t know it before, because it is discribed in the header. I think so...

and in track it is really a little bit silly, because the numbers are too confus and the races are too short, that it is really comfortable. But in normal races, i think it will be a very fast thing to watch at the current tactics of a rider, or t change something like the sprint or to turn off helping or following.

Ok, numbers as shortcuts, ok, didn't know that before. And didn't see it in the header this time either actually.

But then why not kill one column? Right now it's first the number, then the tool to click on. Why not just kill the tool-column, open it either with the keyboard number or by clicking on the number?

The info thing: Having one doesn't mean you can't have the other IMO.

Ok, rode another 2 races. (Really getting tired of it as well)

Either I'm blind or it's really not written anywhere with the numbers as short cut.

And even with the number, it's still kind of complicated. So many things just to change the intensity? Closing as well, yeah, escape.. but why not clicking the same number again closes it as well?

Plus now you have things that you can put stuff in. Attack, following for example. But can't take it out in the race screen, can only change it. Needs to be there too. Take out attacks, put following or helping to nobody.

It's written in this white boxes which you can see if you go over this first icon. Am I right?

I like that you can put in a attack in the last second (like in the actual tactic screen). The new version needs more time. If somebody goes in tempo on the last second you are not fast enough to cancel your own attack. this is not good. I like it very much like it is now, just one easy click. So, pro one button to attack/cancel attack at the upcoming km. And pro button to help/follow nobody. sometimes it's a last second decision, needs to be there.

Hm, did another race and I realized that it is really bad to change the settings of the different riders because you need to scroll in this ridermenu. make this bigger so that you can see all at once would be better I think.

And by the way. with my opera it doesn't work. have to play it with firefox. what about my opera settings? roby said his opera works.

Ok, now I saw it too

One problem though, was happily writing something in the chat, using the nr 2... then that stupid thing opened.

You have to wait a little while, takes suprisingly long, even on FF, Opera even a bit longer.

Really? On my computer i only wait 2 seconds or something like that.
I think it could be any security settings of the webbrowser.

Which do you mean? I don't have any idea. And I will try it again and wait... maybe it works after a while.

Edit: Even if I wait it doesn't work.

Works for me.

What doesn't work is:

The chat, it only actualizes when you write something somehow. Ok, no. Schappy wrote something. Saw it, answered. Then nothing, I was just actualizing, then wrote something, then I saw 3 Schappycomments I hadn't seen before, they only showed when I wrote more.
The sprint: It showed all exactly in the same place.

Should be something with your browser options. Don´t know exactly what this is. I have already fixed some problems, but this seems to be another one in that case.

With the link you posted in the other thread I tested the new racing screen in a race today... for a short while.

Today, I'll criticize the layout. Not new features, not the functionality.

My impression is that you change a lot of things, just to change them. Without really further reasons. Just to have a change.

Profile on top, not centered. On the right. On the left the weather. The weather works well, the not centered profile less. The grey road with the race situation, IMO not very pretty, directly attacked to the profile as well.. why no space?
Then: The racescreen.
Middle: left the race log, right to button to actualize the race.
Then the chat. Here, left the chat, right the onlinebox.. exactly the opposite as before. Again, a change just for the sake of change? This one doesn't really bother me, right or left, who cares. But for me it seems to show that a lot of the changes are just there not for real reasons, but just to have a change.

My problem: It's clustered. You have too much stuff in too little room/space, looks clustered and because of that not really appealing.

Get more space into the thing. Profile on top (a change for the sake of change?) ok, why not, see no real advantage or disadvantage (just have to get used to scrolling up instead of down) but the middle? Center the racelog and put the actualize button under it. Like now. Not because now is so brilliant, actually without seeing it I would have agreed that the new system seems better, save space.. but actually that's exactly what makes it look clustered. That and having almost no empty space between the racescreen/racelog/chat and the profilenumbers on the left.

Space the whole thing out. Plus I don't really see the advantage of that dark blue that makes the whole clustered thing seem even more depressing.
