Good again. The young guys get two trainings and Hsien and Allan get ~50 % training. Jonas would have been nice, but at 25 his chance for training is less than 1/2. Downtranings are in the expected range, but main skills stayed for most riders.

Got scared at first glance because it's so short this time.
Expected about 6 downtrainings, but only got 2. And both of them don't even matter much.
Uptraining also quite nice. Nebyla to 65 mountain now, which is much more than I expected. Grala seems very motivated in his new team and takes the important last training at 24.
Palamarchuk continues his insane training. 70 flat, 90 sprint at 24 is so much more than expected. Can probably switch him to mountain now to have good MSR chances. Dosmagambetov also nice. Missed 1 training this month, which is completely fine. Finally the expected trainings from Mamatkhodzhaev and Coyotecatly.
Overall nothing to complain about at all

You win some, you lose some, but overall it looks nice. Marek going 76 at 29 is brilliant, Humberto going 86 (84.5 pave) is nice as well. For Humberto, that is probably not enough to fight for PR against stronger teams, but still nice. On the other hand, the 23-25 fraction lost out this time. Downtraining Andres stands out negatively, flat and sprint. So, top form next month is probably the last chance for him to be a leader; maybe he has one more month in him as part of the new, weaker train.

Overall, Allan is still above expectations; now he is on his way to get 83 or 84 mountain. Jonas is above expectations in flat, but below in climbing, average overall. Humberto is very average. A 72 flat starting value rarely makes a monster. Marek and Adriaan are still above expectations, even if flat should be higher. Thorvald is slightly below expectations, even if some managers do not believe it. perfect starting values, and neither protecting downhill nor sprint gets you a strong classic with huge weaknesses.

Rather minimalistic again...

Taiaroa -5, Roy -4, keeps mountain at 38
Glück triple at 36 not ideal, keeps mountain at least. Mountain 45, still usable, but barely.
Ganambarr at 34 overdoes it. -2, including climbing. But well, our fault too, after his 2 important wins in the spring we basically ignored him..

+
Winzenried with a minus, no problem, downhill still one to lose.
Lafuente 78 now
Kotibaruly 79 flat
Kagge double, 50-66
They all had 100%, nothing else, is a bit depressing. Some Ousland, , Iskanderov, Vigni would have been nice.

Long list, but bad training.

Goris -5, expected at 38. Kozo -4, keeps flat so ok, but would have preferred a little less downtraining for him. Henkey loses TT, good.

As for uptraining, Diego 100%, Dokker 100%, Baddetti 96%. Kerken (now 73-81) and Barlington (now 84FL) the unexpected trainings, but not worth having Napier miss 96% + 53% and other guys like Cruz, Callard, Henkey, Sartore... not hitting 10%+ trainings

Had worse trainings for sure, but this one not great. Only Kerken kinda saves it

Long...
Taiaroa and Roy aat 39 -5 is normal
Glück -3 at 37, ok
Ganambarr -4 at 35 is entirely too much. Keeps mountain only
Lanfredini loses flat at 34
Toulet starts his downtraining career in style, sprint and downhill

Oldies not good for once, Lanfredini after 5 trainings lost already 2 flat, Toulet 1/1 in sprint

+
Iskanderov mountain. 85 now
Kotibaruly flat
Kagge and Bonjour were at 100%

Iskanderov makes it a good training... no, not really. No Lafuente with 77%.. .yes, more luck getting Iskanderov with than bad luck in not getting Lafuente, but Lafuente plus the oldies, plus no Ousland.. not too happy with the training. Very happy with Iskanderov, but that's it.

Not much to complain about here.
Toktybay -5 a bit more downtraining than I hoped for, but at least he's getting cheaper. Hwang losing his first Sprint, but still not losing any flat so far. Can't really complain at his age. Makhamadzhonov losing mountain again proving I made the right decision to not take him to Mexico.
Uptraining finally with a bit more mountain focus. Looks a lot nice than all the flat of the last months. Especially Grala very nice. At 25 already my 2nd best classic when it comes to mountain skill (Maybe a sign that my other classics really don't like to train at the moment). Taiwia and Palamarchuk alos nice, but not taking mountain wouldn't hurt much.
Dosmagambetov and Mamatkhodzhaev both not missing their slightly below 100% also good and finally the 100% trainings for my young guys. Would be nice if Coyotecatl would take at least 1 or 2 flat trainings this month too. Last classics were very unlucky with this.

Bad one this time, only the three high percentage trainings for the 22-year-olds. So lots of <50 % trainings are missed. I just hope that luck evens out next time. Downtraining is expected, so I am fine with it.

Norbert took the first downtraining chance at 33-1 after not training since 25-1, making it 31 trainings in total.

Not sure how to feel about this training. Kozo keeps sprint, good for his last ever race tomorrow. Goris -4, keeps dh, better than expected at 38, perfect cheap rider at this point. For the uptrainings: 100%, 100%, 100%, 96%, 96%, 2%. At least the 96% hit this time, but that should be the norm of course. Barlington takes the dh which he was only covering, we'll take it but it leaves me unmoved. Apart from that Napier missed 53% MO again, Cruz didn't train (32%) again and missed his 3rd consecutive training like that, and from the 11 possible trainings between 4-20%, none hit.

In conclusion, maybe not the worsst but at least the most boring training of all time...

Taiaroa and Roy the full program, as expected at 39. Good job.
Glück -4, that is way too much at 37. Now 45-80, he's reached the point where he's useless races with even slight hills, 45, ok ok, but combined with only 80, bringing back Toulet if necessary sounds too hard already.
Ganambarr loses a sprint point, could be worse at 35 1 downtraining only is actually fully ok.

+
Ousland, now 56-83. Good. But, and this will make Taka very happy... I'm jealous of the minor Ousland Taka has. 63-85? 85 anyway. +8+11, mine has only +6+10. Grrr, Give me 58-84! But training, so good. 83 now, will try to get 84 before moving back to mountain training
Lafuente 79 mountain now, good, missed the last one, gets this one, good, excellent
Kotibaruly 81 flat, over 80 pavé now, good. Of course for him we hope to get 86+ flat, Winzenried needs a guy with flat besides him. So ways to go, but so far his training has been perfect.
Kagge double, 68 flat now... asking myself why he's there, but ok, he was cheap, now we know why, I can't resist a cheap rider that some day might have an upside, even if not a huge one. For him the potential upside, useful in pavé, will happen after Roubaix of course (unless he trains nonstop and is at 82 for Roubaix...) so pretty useless, but couldn't resist. Training is good, after bringing the mountain to 50, now we try to bring the sprint to 55. For no real benefit, but what else?
Bonjour the 100% double, so of course no problem there.

Ousland-Lafuente-Kotibaruly make it a good training, even if our oldest successful trainee was 24 this time. But we'd take the same training for the rest of December too, no problem.

Not thrilled, just should not expect much more with my age structure. John, good of course, Juha is missing sprint the second time running. Jonas nice and everybody else not training less so. Downtraining, Andres is bad, let's see how long I want to keep him.

Maybe I should just stop buying classics. All other riders seem to be training really well and classics are just taking the piss with their lack of training

The 2 39 year olds take -5, no surprise.
Glück at 37 with everything over 50%, 4 over 60% only loses 2, good this time. Keeps mountain and flat (but it's really too late for both)
Ganambarr at 35 with the full program is overdoing it a lot though.
Lanfredini downhill, 2 flat, 2 downhill lost in the first 7 minus trainings, hoped for a bit less. Downhill ok though
Toulet flat gone, ok.

+
Onkelinx mountain, now 59-84, but he's 31 already, so not much of a great future, still good to take that mountain
Vigni loses TT, will cover it now
Lafuente mountain, excellent, 80 now, 2/3 this month, that's good so far.
Kagge the 100% flat
Bonjour his last double 100%, next it's 100-99.

Kotibaruly, Ousland, Iskanderov would have been nice... but well, Lafuente is important, so that's fine finally.

Mixed one, neither the young guys took two trainings nor did the Jonas/Allan duo train. Instead, Humberto reminded me that I have no support cast for him to speak of. Downtraining is good. Except for the 38-year-olds, nobody lost a main skill.

Pretty average, maybe slightly disappointing.
Piskun training is lovely, but would definitely like my other classcis training more. Nembhard looks like a nice helper for the spring classics now, but with my bad pavé team, that doesn't give me much.
Dosmagambetov with a perfect month. Was fearing him not taking his 80% chances. Also great from Mamatkhodzhaev to take a very risky flat training here.
Coyotecatl ok today, but absolutely disgusting training performance from him this month. Rest were just100% trainings

The post Christmas trainig report is still missing and quite nice. Juha nice, Allan brilliant. Overall, the young riders are progressing nicely, and for the older riders, not much is expected. Downtraining is good except for Johann, who goes down four at 36.

Triple down for Glück at 38, that's fine
Ganambarr double at 36, keeps flat, good, mountain lost but is already a bit too low anyway
Toulet at 34 loses TT
So oldies do well, no Lanfredini at 35, no Lüthi at 33

+
Ousland takes the mountain, changed training, 57-83 now
Lafuente mountain, excellent, 82 now
Kagge the flat, 71 and 72.5 pavé, getting there, 98% flat now
Bonjour takes the 7x double, excellent 58-74
Bongiorno the 100% double, not there anymore 98-99 but we'll risk it.

Very nice. The problem is Kotibaruly who didn't train, still at 81 flat. 80.1 pavé is good, but we need flat...

Mixed feelings again. Downtraining for Rakhmonaliev and Palamarchuk does not matter, but Grala losing flat and not training mountain hurts a bit.
a lot of uptrainings, but unfortunately many of them not that helpful. Nebyla training flat is ok. Will be helpful for classic season.
Nembhard with his third training in a row. I get that never having to cover anything helps training chances, but +19 flat is still way over expectations. Unfortunately his training does not really help all that much.
Then we have Dosmagambetov training sprint instead of mountain. Again not really helpful, but better than nothing.
Coyotecatl making up a bit for his disgustingly bad training last month. Flat now pretty much within expectations. Now he needs to get lucky with his mountain training.
Finally two out of three double trainings for the young guys. Unfortunately the one I hoped for the most ended up being the one missing out. But it's fine. Not so fine is that all of my supposed leaders did not get any uptrainings. Plenty of 25+% trainings not taken, so even if the overall amount of trainings is above expectations, I can not really be happy

Overall good training, but could always be better of course. Parri starts his career with a double. We don't take the risk for MO so will be 6x% flat all month. Diego gets the flat where we gamble just a little, but misses 50% MO. Napier 8x% flat, Dokker 8x%, both hit, good. Diego and Dokker now below 80% for next training, scary. Baddetti 23% lowest % to hit this training. Great, but would rather see these kind of trainings for our leader of course. Cruz misses again, dropped to 19% this month so it seems he won't be any good. Besides Cruz (19%), Callard (19%) and Diego (50%) missing their training, all the rest is already below 10%, so can only dream there.

I had better. Even with the aging team, no uptraining over the age of 23 should be considered bad. No training for John at 23, even worse. Okay, it is his first climbing miss, so he should be able to cope with it. Juha taking sprint and flat at 23 is good, of course. Maybe I should buy him a sprint team at some point? Downtraining ended up very well, the flat team kept their flats, and Andres kept his sprint. Maybe he does not want to retire at the end of January.
