SM Team : I did a Team Attack

Hello all,

I'm riding 14h field the Vuelta, and after the stage today, I see that I did a team attack

First, I apologize for this, because I thought that I did was right (and everyone in the field too, nobody told me I was wrong).

I thought that 1 of the limitation of the rule was 10 riders (it was actually 8) OR 4 different teams (it was, before the drop of Tomic after the attack), and it appears that it's 10 riders AND 4 different teams, so this word change everything, and I was wrong, even though that Silouanos was helpless.

So I don't know what to do, but this shows that we can simplify the rule 3, as it looks I'm probably not the only one that missunderstood part(s) of this rule.

Thanks for your comprehension, but I'm a bit embarrassed right now...

I would like, if possible, to remove the time gain for Silouanos and the gains for 4th place.

Well, I think is not enough to remove the time gains for silouanos...your team attack lead to 33 seconds gain for 2 climbers.

The 2 climbers followed Valdis

OK , I saw the reply, you are right, silouanos worked only 2-3 km, the gap was actualy gained by valdis and Gorazsd.
I believe your proposal to remove the gap for Silounaos would be fair.

But if silouanos is not in the Group you wont ride so hard because you dont have big chances for stage. Right?

I would have do the same, I couldn't attack anymore because I would have been under reg for the 2 riders, and already gain 30 sec on yellow jersey holder

really? and for what did you ride than? FF has a 65&57 sprinter you only 51&55! So no chance for stage and you would also pull the mountainriders and help them for gc?

I wouldn't have won the stage in ANY case (attacking or not), so I just have gained 30 sec on yellow, and we still have many stages to do...
Ok I pull some mountain riders, but I don't think the GC will be won by another rider than Croce/Mc Cann/Uerduk

Someone looked to my account as I was offline (it already happened when I sit others)

Silouanos deliberately lost 21 sec, so still 12 sec to lose to repair my mistake.

At the following stage, I dropped myself Silouanos so he loses 21 sec, so still have 12 sec to lose (or maybe you can do that manually?)

I don't get the FPK in this case... No fine and Big warning (so big fine if he does it again) way better imo! then you're sure he won't do it anymore and didn't do it on purpose in this case!
