Events for National teams

Post by cataracs » Tue Jan 06, 2026 2:57 pm

I don't know how hard it is to program those races for natoinal teams, but if it's doable it could be nice to have a few one day races or/and small 5 days tours for the national teams every now and then. Natoinal teams with their own points and energy and maybe some money system.

Since the current World Champion retired, and the next real world championship is far away, we can plan a fantasy world championship.
My fellow cyclingfreaks: ask not what the game can do for you - ask what you can do for the game.

I'm a fan of one day races for national teams, tours not so much. Also something different than championships all the time would be nice, like a cat1 fantasy race :p. Could give all participating managers just a basic salary (f.e. 10k for every manager to ride 60%+ of the race) to make it at least somewhat worth it :)

I made an igname poll to gather thoughts about the WC.

But what I'm asking for here is different, we don't need to cut the normal races for it. Just a one edition thing of a different universe for those who want to do more than just one c4f race sometimes.
