I am not Luques, but it's clearly a server problem. I don't think he can do much about that, as he does not have direct access to the server (?).
Even by having a server at house, if the server isn't enough the only way you have to improve the situation is to buy a new one.

Btw as someone was afraid, we are doing something, basically cleaning up the database and trying to make everything more efficient. But that's not an easy or fast task anyway.

yes, same for me.
It worked between 8:00 and 9:00 then it was off again.

For me the greatest game on the internet is down since 20min or so.
8:30 (+/-) CET until now.... both PC and app can't be reached.
