Team attack from rosaria at km 159 / 194 today at 15h Beiras e Serra. Broke Rule 1), others gave him chance to drop, but he did not until he was eventually caught by peloton.

A rule violation is a rule violation no matter whether you profit from it or not.

The real problem isn't even the team attack, but the fact that he doesn't recognize it as a team attack while it is the most basic case.

one time I saw some one doing this on a +4% and auxilium torino seid it was a team attack but then saw it was on a +4% and recognized it was'nt.
Before the race I checked the rules and at the end of the third rule it said that :"Chained Attacks.
More than 2 riders of a team, who, through attacking or following, escape out of a group. [...] This rule is deactivated too, in the last 20km of a race and if the road rises 4% and more".

You are referring to rule number 3 here and indeed you didn't break this rule. In your example, probably it was an attack where at least 1 rider was following somebody elses attack. Such an attack is indeed allowed.

Attacking with 3 riders in the same km (so all riders attacking on their own, not following anybody else) is not allowed, so you did break rule number 1:
"1. Attack (no following) with more than 2 riders of one team at the same km out of the same group.
This rule is deactivated for the last 10 km of every race."

In such a case you can drop one rider after people tell you about it and then you will usually not be in trouble. But since you didn't, it is a team attack and you can probably expect a small fine for it.
