Minimum teams to start a race

Tours or one day races with less teams shouldn't start, if they don't reach a Minimum of teams.

Example:
one day races needs minimum 3 teams
a tour need minimum 5 teams or something like this.

If the minimum isn't reach, there is no race!

If we can ride at one timetable ( f.e 15 o'clock) and if we put our (top)forms here because this is the only tour for us during this month/ or another reason and this tour is cancelled due to your rules... do you think that he'll have a good reaction after that?...

Else if important tour will be cancel because of too less people...if it is cancel, ride at another time or ride 1 day race. Better to have 1 or 2 unhappy people than to have 15-16 guys unhappy because their field is too small.

I am with IDF.

Better to ride against two guys then dont ride the whole day. Yes, some people really have not the time to ride each time a day.
If someone is unwilling to ride with less opponents, he/she is free to cancel the race.

Actually consider this:

1) About single races: Racing alone in a single race is almost not racing no? Also in 2 it doesn't change much, as in all the races i have seen they just wait the end and i am pretty sure that the big races will have always good numbers. So there is surely no problem of fun, maybe of money?

2) It is not intention of Leso (i think) making a lot of parallel tours or making a lot of times for a single tour. Well we can always correct him if we think there are too many hours for a tour. Btw I think that in general the biggest tours will have always a good presence so no risk to be cancelled, the lower rank tours maybe will have. Just cut some of their spots and i think no one will suffer. Just for info, considering that with 5players the tour will start only one tour since Jan would have been cancelled.

I really dont understand why you want establish restrictions on other teams, although it is now also possible for you not to ride such races.

Maybe it would be better to solve the "less teams but same money in tours" bug first, if this isn´t happened so far.

But you are referring about single races or tours?

I mean single races, riding in two doesn't look so nice imo.

About tours, as i said, since the start of the year only one tour went down the limit of 5, the tour is Langkawi probably not the most presigious. Actually i guess that by doing 4 fields as we are doing when there are 2 // tours things are ok.

Btw agree that if it requires much work better focus on other things

The Vuelta a Canaris (3.1.14) , morning edition just had 2 teams and was cancelled due to this, after day 1, with the new system it would have been possible to sign in on the same tour on an other time.
