It's just not a name for a rider, no matter what he won or how important he is to you: http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Il_conte_di_Montecristo

But if you can show a decent and serious source that shows it is an Italian name, we well be happy to give him the resp. nationality.
I didn't mean to say it. But I meant what I said.

Only real possibility should be invert name and surname (I think impossible) Monte is ok as surname, Cristo is how we call Gesus.. But not really a good chances and I don't want to propose this, looks too much

1. Maybe you should read and learn to rename the names and corresponding, the post from NicoVanarlo says all!
2. Instead, people rave around like they got robbed or sth. worse. Calm down, if you have a reasonable point, the NC will be happy to serve you. Sometimes it's annoying, but mostly we just don't have the information you have when we treat your rider's name in a wrong way. If so, just help us, in a friendly way, please.

Without beeing sure 100%, it should be KlausDieter.

PS: It's "how" not "who", I guess. Otherwise you could write them to Klaus Dieter :)

Thank you for the information. Simomatti will get his nationality back, but it could take some days until the application is allowed by the system.

Looked it up. You called your rider Silva Welliton while in reality, Welliton is the first name and Silva the family name. It should be Welliton Silva. That's the reason your rider lost his nationality.

General remark:

If you post a rider here, please post is (correct) first name AND his (correct) last name. That makes it much easier for us to check and thus faster for you to get want you want (if your claim is legitimate).

Thank you.

Hi

Not yet a problem with my riders, but i discovered (after naming 2 of them) some rules that doesn't match with my idea:
(2) Nicknames (f.e. „Katsche“ Schwarzenbeck), artist names (f.e. „DJ Ötzi“) or fantasy names (f.e. „Pepsi Cola“, „Baum Stamm“) are not allowed. Riders with such names will be made stateless.
I want to have the "Marx Brothers" (Groucho, Harpo, Chico and so on) in my team. But they will miss quoted rules now (i named them Groucho and Chico, these are artist names)

Do i need to change it? and, in this case, despite law does not allow ignorance, can i modify them?

In my opinion, the posted rules for nicknames are too strict. Some people are only known to the world by their nicknames. Take for example the German football coach Uli Hoeneß. Everybody in the world knows him with his nickname Uli, but not with his actual name Ulrich. Even Wikipedia named its article with the nickname http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uli_Hoene%C3%9F
The same thing would apply for the Marx Brothers. And as long as Marcoll Pirata is still allowed ... ;)
