Re: Nationenkomitee / Nations Komitee /
Just as I see it: Why has Ricard Virenque not a nation. Ricard is an existing first name (a spanish one, think of Ricard Rubio Vives), and Virenque a family name. Even though it sounds like a clone, you can't call it to be one. A well possible name combination. Btw, Jean Voigt the same.

Re: Nationenkomitee / Nations Komitee /
My rider Chao Santana lost his nation (Argentina). Not because someone in the Komitee thinks it's the wrong nation for him, if not because Chao Santana was decided as "not a real name".
first name: http://www.vorname.de/chao/
surname: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlos_Santana (for example, first that i found, but i think it's because of his first name)
It would be nice if he could get his (or any other nationality again)
Thanks

Re: Nationenkomitee / Nations Komitee /
Hallo!

Is not that impolite, don't see the problem with it. The politeness problem. The language problem of course is there:Incorrect name! Your rider will loose his nationality. Choose next time a best name.
lose, not loooooose
The last sentence then is a nice mess. "Next time choose a better name" if anything... best name, brr. And even better name... a "name that fits the changing and undefined rules" Ok, here a please would fit in too, but without it we'll survive it too.
Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!

Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!
Got a carrot from FL. But they threaten to take it away now.

Yes, the language errors in the english version should be fixed, too. Still I think it might make a better impression to be a bit more polite. Maybe something like:
"This name does not qualify for the standards of an rsf-rider. Please think of a more realistic name. If you feel you picked a realistic name already, the nations comitee is happy to help you out in the forum."
You're right, the text right now isn't that terrible, but it's not very nice either. And sometimes the Ton makes the Musik. When a new manager feels his rider lost the name unjustified, a text saying "This is not a name. Try to do better." might not make him much happier.
I admit, as things look in this thread, everyone seems to have calmed down anyways, so this is not a big problem probably.

YEAH! Finally! Wanli is gone! It's sad that he was allowed to retire, instead of being fired. Actually being fired with a fairness case on his ass would have been the right way to deal with him, but the important thing is. WANLI IS GONE.
JA! Endlich!
Ok, question to the new boss: Do we get rules/guidelines now? On how we are allowed to name our riders? We didn't have any under Wanli, but would be nice to know what is ok and what not.

Robyklebt wrote:Ok, question to the new boss: Do we get rules/guidelines now? On how we are allowed to name our riders? There are already rules that I find far too acceptable. We will discuss if needed but internally again. There should be more transparency, so my aim. If anyone else wants to join, he should contact me via PM. But only if you have really regular time and desire to actively participate. Give, give me some more time. (google translator)

Re: Nationenkomitee / Nations Komitee /
Regeln gibt's theoretisch.
Theoretically there are rules, yes. They were posted after repeated requests here, but it was clear that the committee didn't work according to these rules. And then it's not rules anymore, at least not rules that are helpful to us, the guys who give the names. We don't know what is allowed and what not. We can only guess from this thread and seeing what was done lately to see how the wind is blowing. I don't really care that much what is in the rules finally, but that there are rules on which we can rely. Doesn't have to be today or tomorrow, but sometimes before 2013 would be nice.

nderung der Nationalitt von Philémon BangBang:, "Cameroun" zu "Staatenlos"
Begrndung: Kein Name! Fahrer wird deshalb Staatenlos. Beim nächsten mal bitte glaubwürdige Namen wählen.
You're kidding me. Philémon is a first name, often used in french-speaking countries like... hmmm... Cameroon?!?!?!?!
And Bang-Bang or Bang are also names widely used, just go google it, first page, you find ENOUGH guys with that name. Please give back the nation and start caring for the "Berg Fahrer" guys instead of deleting names for riders that have a normal name. Ridiculous.

You have any Sources?
Re: Nationenkomitee / Nations Komitee /
Sure, no prob. Here is a link showing people that have this last name.
http://lastnames.myheritage.de/last-name/Bangbang
Explicatly, France is mentioned here, and I assume since French is a common language in Cameroon, colony etc, it's okay to use it for a cameroon guy to. Since also names like Bang, Bong or something like that is also common in Cameroon, e.g. the football national team, I dont think it should be a problem? Thanks for the fast answer btw.
