Giro 2010, Vlads Time 15h
Bah, I hate Libby and Galacticos... tradionally the afternoon gets its thread first, grrrr, now they were faster, bah, hate them, hate them.
Anyway, the only Giro that really counts, the afternoon, Vlad only rode here. And don't ask who Vlad is, people who don't know him should be banned from RSF anyway.
But ok, afternoon Giro 10, 14, 15 or 16, Klebt is for 14, just like that, need to have an opinion. Marzahn could participate then. Don't want to work for a sprint
The course, every real freak knows it by memory by now, so no need to repeat it here, a little "fuck Zomegnan" is still ok.
Roby of course will be participating
1 Yuri Gamov Leader
2 Septimiu Berlogea nr 4 in the mountains, support rider with hopefully close to 70 in the mountain when the Giro starts (max he can have then is 68)
3 Ivan Buonarroti Second Leader. THis year we'll have a clear leader for once, Gamov, Ivan will have his chance, but it's not 50/50 like in the past with Guevara-Kharlamov, Helios-Pucci, it will be more 65% Gamov-35% Buonarroti.
4 Karl Eiterolloid: Sprinter without goals, who cares about a red jersey? Ciclamino, yes, but red, who cares. Stage wins? Ok, but that's not a goal, that a certainty.
5 Feng Ouyang: Support rider, important for the TTT.
6 Philipp Guggisberg: Important support rider Nr 5 in the mountain, only real 60-80, which according to Klebtosophy are the heart and soul of every serious GT team.
7 Thomas Guggisberg: Nr 3 in the mountain, 76 right now, will be 33, so risks losing some of his skills. But small risk, and with 75 or 74 (grr) still ok... 73 would piss me off a bit...Important role obviously as nr 3, traditionally in a Klebt Giro Team that's a real climber with 80+...(not last year though) he will probably have a similar Giro as the Tismeanu (06+07) and Gygax (08), fairly anonymous, mostly helping Gamov or maybe Buonarroti
8 Wassissi Machoro: The second 60-80, but not a real one.. 58-78, his advantage is the reg. And the TT
9 Stefano Uzielli The fourth 60-80, the third one is Feng, altough he is more like 50-70, but Feng too has the 60-80 mentality. Ha. But like nr 3+4 Stefano won't be a real 60-80, ok theoretically possible, but practically he'll probably be at 57 or so mountain... or even less.
Not as good as my 08 team, Berlogea and Uzielli really are one year too young, lack decent 80+ flat riders, only Philipp at the moment, but not much reg, the 70-80 is not really good enough in the downhill. But ok, it's more or less the team I imagined, a bit weaker, but on the other hand Gamov and Thomas Guggisberg are stronger than I could expect.
Tactic? Easy, LImit the losses in the TTT, too long for my taste, with Uzielli, Feng, Eiterolloid, Wassissi and Philipp I have an ok TTT team, but not good enough to lose less than 2'. More then 3' would be bad (to a GC contender)
Then defend on those damned strade bianche, well Pavé thanks to Buhmann... not that it changes much in that case. all for Gamov-Buonarroti that day, won't care about the stage win, which might be possible with Thomas. But prefer losing nothing on GC guys than winning with Thomas and losing 2"
From then on gain time, Terminillo, Monte Grappa, Zoncolan, Kronplatz, Peio Terme, Mortirolo, Tonale and ok, defend rosa in Verona.
Hope for a nice group, quantity and quality. Radler welcome too off course.. but bah, he is scared of me now.

Team FL will try to be there as well, most certainly with the following line-up:
x1 Severino Nicolosi, (then) 33
x2 Ronny Beck, 23
x3 Sven Becker, 34
x4 Mavolio Bent, 29
x5 Hannes Büchel, 30
x6 Daniel Clavadetscher, 24
x7 Lorenz Dürr, 25
x8 Jens Scholz, 31
x9 William deWorde, 27
Subs:
- Nico Goop, 26
- Guus Nederlof, 27
Goal as usual: Have Fun! and perhaps one or two stage wins in flat or hilly terrain.

Re: Giro 2010, Vlads Time (après-midi, Nachmittag, pomeriggi
Gaurain probably won't be here but who knows... My future changes at every minutes by now! And, i would be happy to be there!! With whom... That's here!
1. Ethan Heinhardt : Leader for sure... or Heinrich Quinthardt takes 7 points in hill and becomes the leader at his place (Yeah, Yeah... Ethan will reach the 90 before the begin of the Giro);
2. Cyriel Baiwir : One of the masterpiece of the tea(number 2). Strong 70 - 80 (not yet for the 80) teammates with big reg. Need to improve a bit (reaching 72 before the start of the Giro would be cool);
3. Francesco DelPonte : Masterpiece number 4 : 55-70 with 60 TT at the start I hope... With good reg... A usefull helper in every stages;
4. JeanMichel Javaux : Masterpiece number 3. Wanted him to be a 60-80 but never had such a bad rider at training... So I hope he will be a 58-78 or thing like that! 71 TT is really helpfull and has too the biggest reg a RSF rider can have!
5. Yvon Leterminus : Masterpiece of Prebois! Only role is to ride as fast as possible at the end of the flat stages and lead Prebois to a lot of wins;
6. Laurent Maréchal : Masterpiece number 1. Tremendous helper (69-84-76) with enormous reg... Able to TT a bit. Maybe can play for a stage once. Will be usefull in hill and to controll on flat stages too;
7. Stephane Pauwels : Masterpiece number 5 : Hope a 72 - 80 at the start of Giro..; Good TT (58), little reg... An helper most of the time... Staying the most of his time near Ethan ;
8. Guillaume Prebois : The sprinter... He'll have the pressure, he'll have to score... Cause cost will be huge so the most he can bring, the better it is. Green jersey can be a goal;
9. Luke Walper : Not sure that he will participate... but ok... Cheap cost, 53 TT, 45reg... Can serve to controll on flat stages!
Well balanced team I think... Maybe a lack of flat helpers for Guillaume (One more could be cool (Aurélio or Eline) at the place of Walper)!, surely hill helpers for Ethan a bit weak... but no solution at the moment for it! Biggest weapon of the team is the reg... But maybe not so important in the Giro!!
Anyway, we won't see Maddof or Quinthardt take part at this Giro.

Maybe i will start here, but only if it starts 13 or 14, later is impossible, because of my student job.
So, do you want the total sprint? Yes, you want, because i will control the flat stages then, so there will be no chaos.^^ Okay, the sprints will maybe become chaotic. The little Roby sprinter will win many stages, i think, because Prebois, who i don't really like here^^, and my sprinter, whoever it will be, don't know yet (Johannson or Iatiknu), will look at each other and sprint from 50m. Or will there be more sprinters?
So, if you want me to start at the afternoon, and i know you want it^^, promote 13 or 14.

Re: Giro 2010, Vlads Time (après-midi, Nachmittag, pomeriggi
I want to start here too, because last Giro made so much fun!
Team:
I hope Abbadon Chadasch will train a bit his mountain skill, with 87 he is useless^^, if he don't train, he has to stay at home (he needs pressure)
The Rest will be filled up with young goingtobe klassikers and cheap flat-riders.
Hope it will not be so expensive, because i dont know how often i am not able to be there.
For Sure i will need a sitter some days, hope not so often.
Why can't i click ob giro in the "Anmeldung"? Would really like to sign now and do now other race before
Goal:
Hope we will have no sprinters in the team so i can make stagewins^^
I am a timetrial looser, so in gk i have no ambitions
P.S.: If its at 13 I will not start. 14 still is a little bit to early, 15 would be great, or the best would be 14:30!!!
P.P.S.: Of course I will have an Italien boy in my team!

Bad leso. Now Roby has to ride very probably without a Marzahn that controls every flat stage.^^ And i have to think if i ride at all. The other times are also not so good for me.

Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!
Got a carrot from FL. But they threaten to take it away now.

As i said before, Karl can win as often as he wants, as long as Iatiknu wins the points jersey (and maybe one stage?).

don't forget dürr.... but good to know if marzahn is around that my riders may have a quiet giro
I didn't mean to say it. But I meant what I said.
Re: Giro 2010, Vlads Time (après-midi, Nachmittag, pomeriggi
Probably he won't be.. he only can 14h, but it seems highely unlikely that leso will change anything. Too bad. Dürr, well, ok, he can get the points jersey, Karl all the stages and then leaves the Giro on the Tonale stage, ok?

Re: Giro 2010, Vlads Time 15h
Well, Mai is here, the salary is fix.. 583k
And that even though I'm not really happy with the team... good thing I'm not, don't even want to know how much it would cost if I was happy with it
Connection, much better the last 2 days... hope it continues improving and stays nice and perfect for the Giro. But well, today already seems a bit slower right now...grr. we'll see.

Yuri Gamov, Ivan Buonarroti, Roland Guggisberg, Horatiu Odobescu, Zhang Ming, Pavel Korzin and Martin Rösti just arrived in Amsterdam. They will stay here until the Giro starts, last week of preparation. Robert W. Klebt and the rest of the team will join them friday night. At the Airport Yuri Gamov only said a few words to the press. Interesting sidenote, "el burro" Ruiz was seen at Schipol too, he is asking arriving teams for a short term contract, he feels still strong enough to compete for the win he said.

Re: Giro 2010, Vlads Time 15h
An official news come from the top of Gaurain's team this afternoon. Gaurain will be at start of the Giro at 15h!! For his first big tour, the team will be represented by :
1. Guillaume Prebois : 51-59-56-50-95-39 We give him the first number while it is our best hope. Will be there for the sprints, to win
2. Cyriel Baiwir : 73-79-78-46-47-58. Has trained as expected. A precious teammate with good reg. Will work for Guillaume and Ethan but can go in the escapes too;
3. Francesco DelPonte : 55-70-76-60-47-56. The Italian guy of the team. I can't let him home. A "little" rider but precious for the Team Time Trial;
4. Ethan Heinhardt : 87-59-64-56-54-43. The leader for Gk. Will go for the podium. Big weaknesses are reg and Downhill. But we've faith in him to do a great result. Winning in Plan de Corones can be a goal too;
5. Yvon Leterminus : 50-88-56-49-50-49. Important to get sprints, he'll ba a masterpiece of Prebois sprint train. Can go to the escape in other stages;
6. Laurent Maréchal : 69-84-76-54-57-61. Superteammate for this Giro. Leading sprint in first 2 weeks, protecing Ethan then... And going in escapes the other days ;
7. Aurélio Quintana : 52-88-60-46-66-41 : Prebois best teammates, will do his work on flat stages. For the rest, we'll see;
Stay 2 places for 4 guys : Rupette, Huybrechts, Maingain and Walper. The first 2 lead for these 2 last places but we'll take the decision soon.
Anyway, we won't see Maddof, Quinthardt,Javaux or Pauwels take part at this Giro.

I didn't mean to say it. But I meant what I said.
Re: Giro 2010, Vlads Time 15h
I'll also start here.I'l bring another sprinter (Nikolaus Müssiggang - 94) and also a time-trial specialist (Milan Gurovic - 92). So my focus will be on the flat stages at the beginning. Since my best mountain-rider has only 70 and therefor i'll have no chances in Gk i will concentrate on escapes as soon as it gets a bit more mountainous.
