Hello, I will probably be in DIV5 next month.
I can not found a topic with a clear explanation/guideline "How work the new youth transfert market".
I looked into the main topic about it but it is a big mess with the story since the beg and I didnt found a guideline. Same in the french part of the forum

Youth riders

In Division 1-6 there is a youth market. In this market you can buy riders that will join your team in the beginning of the following month as 21 year olds.


Div 1-5 market auction-System

In Division 4 and higher youth riders and new riders which have never been before in a team are sold in an auction. The price of the riders starts very high, then decreases continuosly, until it reaches the minimum (95%) Then the rider is taken out of the auction, if there was no valid bid for him.There are 2 ways to buy a rider:1) Immediate buy: Then of course the price can be quite high. 2) By placing a bid. Offer as much as you think you want to pay for a certain rider. Then you will see the date and time when the rider will reach this price. If your bid is too low, it will show 'never'. If there are no higher valid bids and you have enough money to cover your bid, thewill then accept your offer and join your team, as a 20 year old youth rider that can't ride or train yet, then as a regular 21 year old member of the team on the first of the following month. All bids are secret, you can only see your own bids. Unlike on the other transfer markets, here there is no complete refresh of the market, instead every few minutes a new riders joins the auction.


Div 1-5 auction-system for sold riders

Riders that were sold by a team and appear on the Division 1-4 markets are sold in auctions too. For these riders the minimum bid is 85%. When the rider's price has reached this limit, the rider stays on the market. The price then continues to decrease with different speed, depending on their age. Riders under 85% can only be bought by "direct-buy"
