Might I propose NOT offerning any races at all for 14-16 in march? Then at least we know what the deal is. Like this we keep hoping it's just an oversight.

Or maybe less long tours and more short ones. It's not up for everybody to be connected everday at the same hour during more than 1 week. It's really easier when it's for 2-4 days.

But I raised many times my concern that it is to easy to gain money with tours. Remember Roby said the same. The issue is, that it is really difficult to find the way it works. E.g. for me is the best starting time at 9/10am if I am in germany, but 5 months/year I am in SO Asia ... and then I prefer 2/3/4 pm, like Roby. At other slots I won't ride tours

Less tours?
By now I'm against it. Of course in an ideal world there would be less tours, meaning that not every tour is offered 3-6 times. Ideally IMPORTANT tours would be offered 5 times. (Right now, changing when we get more new players, NA, SA, Australia and New Zealand etc. But now 5 times for cat 4-5 and ok, important (Andes, Dec) or popular (pave +?) fantasytours in the offseason. Otherwise 2-4, more than enough. Depending on how many tours parallel always. Like even Sachsen and San Luis soon, 4+4 would have been enough. With all times having to bite into the sour apple from time to time. No Sachsenpavé for the afternoon maybe. ok. No San Luis for the late evening. Ok. Or no San Luis for the morning. For the early evening. Or oh shock, even for 20-21. 20-21 is THE most popular time, yes, and not having it would hurt some people sometimes. But then 20-21 is the only time whose "span" is only 2 hours, by offering something like 19-22, a fairly high percentage of managers could probably ride the one or the other. All others times have 3 hour spans, 9-11, 14-16, 17-19, 22-24. So yes, EVERYBODY should be "hit" by less tours. Sometimes it sucks, wanted Tachira and fuck, exactly that one is not offered in my time. .. Ok, that's RSF life. The "ideal" one. With less tours.

But unfortunately reality looks different. Most of the time it's the afternoon that gets to eat the whole sour apple. See my february thing: 7 tours. All together 8 x somebody doesn't get an edition. 3 times the afternoon, we get 37,5% of the apple. And it will continue like that, less tours in lesos mind means cut the afternoon first, yes, put it 13, it's close, put in 17 it's close, bah, make the afternoon a 5 hour thing.. hahaha.

So no, since less tours means mostly the afternoon, who generally doesn't have weaker participation as the morning, rather stronger actually, gets less options than all other times, then I say no, don't cut tours. I rather have people winning 2 millions a tour in the morning, who cares, and me having the possibility to chose like the morning, early evening, evening and late evening can, than not have this possibility.


Just look at the feb plan:

The morning can ride: Everything except Algarve (8h, like 12+13h I count that as off times that deserve an occasional tour) So can chose between Besseges and Qatar. Later either Oman+Sardegna or Oman+Langkawi or Ruta del Sol+ Langkawi. Can ride max 3 tours, can chose between 6 which 3.
Afternoon? Bessèges, no Qatar. Then Oman and Sardegna or just Ruta del Sol. max 3 tours, but 2 of those are fixed, Bessèges Sardegna, no alternatives like Qatar and Langkawi for the afternoon.

So, no, just offer more. To be constructive.... a better feb plan would be

Besseges and Qatar 4 times.
10-15-20-22
11-18-21-23
Why not. Afternoon and early evening lose one. No choice here.

Then Oman
14-18-21-24 the morning misses

Algarve
11-16-19-22 the 20-21 misses

Ruta del Sol
9-13-17-21 afternoon misses and late evening misses. 1-2-1-1-1 the misses, and 1 extra time, 13 in

Sardegna

8-14-18-20 morning and late evening off.

Ok, maybe the combinations with all the parallel things are not good, probably could be made better, but it's already fairer then what we have now. And just an example, not really that thought through, which tours are what etc.

Put in less tours and what will happen? The afternoon might lose more, have even less options. Pff, no thanks, than rather just keep it like that, at least this month we can have Crna Gora or Down Under, San Luis or Sachsen, next month Besseges.. don't want to lose Besseges (not that I will ride that shit, but want the option to ride it if I want to like everybody else) too.... So... no, forget less tours. Let's rather have more money but we afternoon people at least get 62,5% of the races, don't want to see that go down to under 50%. Which if history teaches us anything, is exactly what would happen.. afternoon under 50, thge rest happily around 75%. No thanks.
