time bonifications

The time bonuses in the game are quite different to those in real races. The system with 20 sec for the stage winner and 6 sec for the intermediate sprint is something you can find only at grand tours. In smaller races you get (if any) only 10-6-4 sec for the stage and 3-2-1 sec for the intermediate sprints. Additionally I found no difference between flat and middle mountain stages and bonuses are (at least for some races) also available on mountain top finishes (has the current system been implemented at the Tour de France some years ago?).

In my opinion we should give the designer the possibility (and responsibility) to set the time bonuses as they are in reality. I add the UCI relegations stating under which conditions time bonuses can (not must) be awarded:

Bonuses may be awarded under the following conditions:

1. Major tours (15 - 23 days)
Intermediate sprints:for
• stages: 3 sprints maximum
Bonuses
• intermediate sprints: 6" - 4" - 2"
• finish:
half-stage: 12" - 8" - 4"
stage: 20" - 12" - 8"

2. Other events
Intermediate sprints:
• half-stages: 1 sprint maximum
• stages: 3 sprints maximum
Bonuses
• intermediate sprints: 3" - 2" - 1"
• finish:
half-stage: 6" - 4" - 2"
stage: 10" - 6" - 4"

No bonuses may be awarded during stages or half-stages unless a bonus is also awarded at the finish.

Bonuses shall be shown only in individual general classification by time. No bonuses shall be awarded for individual or team time trial events.

Indivdiual time bonifications are planned for a long time. Have to talk about this with that with leso again. We should integrate this, because then we need not change it manually every GT...

i think about this since very long time.
Why not, in the editor page, an extra slot for real time bonifications, and for real Jersey?
i would like that, the race designer can insert points(for green or red) and time bonifications like ins real race, and would be really nice, to have the chance to choise the colours of the real jersey...

Buh, please check the "Punktevergabe" page. I am very sure there are time bonifications (at the end of the stage) in stage races right now, but the page tells me there shouldn't be time bonis.

I just want to revive this topic. The thread is one and a half year old. Nothing has changed and I still think this is important as many short tours are won and lost by time bonifications.
