I researched about that a bit as well.

Q&A captcha seems to work quite well I read on the phpbb forum.

Looked how to install/introduce this but preferred not risking blowing up the whole board... can post the link tomorrow.

Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!
Got a carrot from FL. But they threaten to take it away now.

Hope so too

Deleted 16 of those spambots in May so far... until they crack those QA things less will be nice.

Thanks!

Own goal.

Maybe the question is too easy? Maybe the bots can calculate? Because this is looking to become the new record day...

The questions are so difficult that nobody can answer, that´s the trick ;)

5-6=? was the first one. I admit I had problem with that one, the bots didn't. Just make a test accont (that I'll delete immediately.. hahah) to check the new impossible to solve ones. Took me 58 minutes googling to get it right.

We really need a spanish and portuguese section.
a dutch one too.

See this thread. viewtopic.php?f=20&t=2026&p=38517#p38517

from the nickname either spanish or portuguese.. he tries english but i have no idea what he means.
open the language sections and maybe he asks there. ok, we have no native as far as i know, but maybe people who speak it a bit can understand and answer it there.

We have a probleme with poland. Either we invade them, which we are good at and and coult be fun too, or we do something else, no idea what, but be it as it may, we have some weirt polish bots that seems to have creacked the uncrackable question and keep regeistering in the forum to post bad ugly spam. Still bearable, 2 or so deletions per day, but if the polish are coming probably the rest of the world is not far behind,... any brilliant ideas to keep them out?
