Hi guys !

I'm here to show you my project for the December Tour.
I won't show a finished tour this year, I will let you possibility to choose the olmania's December Tour !
When after voting, this tour will be selected, I will show it in the competition against the others December Tours from others drawers !

So, this tour is the Kurdistan Tour !

And there is 12stages, on 13days !

And I explain you how to make this tour :

for each day I did 2-4stages, you have to choose one/day !
For voting, answer in this topic with a post like that :

ps : please don't choose a tour only for youself, imagine the finest selection in your eyes. (don't take 4days of time trial beacause you've 3 timetrialists in your team, or all the flat stages because you've a good sprinter !). Do it realistic ! Enjoy !

DAY1 :

A =
A short and flat prologue


B =
A flat stage, with one mountain price and an urban circuit in Cizre to conclude


C =
A stage with some difficulties, maybe for the classicsprinters, fight for red could start here !


D =
An ITT with a climb (6-6-6-8)


DAY2 :

A =
Easy flat stage, last km 3%


B =
Only 2x6% in the last climb, sprinters will have difficulties, but they still can win here !


DAY3 :

A=
First HC stage, with a 3kms climb (8-9-7)


B=
A flat stage with a tiring long 1-4%climb ...


DAY4 :

A=
HC Stage with 10flat kms to conclude, dangerous !


B=
The same last hill, with more flat to finish in an urban circuit, classic sprinters ?


DAY5 :

A=
An easy flat stage !


B=
Middle mountain stage with a 10% 12kms near the end, maybe for a long escape ?


DAY6 :

A=
A short team time trial with onlye one 7% like hard km ...


B =
An Individual Time Trial, with a steep hill (8-9-8-7-7) and a flat part to finish


C=
A flat stage (last climb is not steep), for sprinters of an escape ?

DAY 7 :

A=
A mountain stage, with a dangerous last 20kms, with downhill, hills, and flat parts ...


B=
A long last hill 1-7% ... for classic riders, maybe classic sprinters !


DAY8 :

A=
A flat stage, with a circuit in Yerevan, capital of Armenie to finish !


B=
A middle mountain stage, for offensive riders from a long escape or with attacks in the las 4kms (4-5-6-3%)


DAY9 :

A=
An easy flat stage !


B=
A long, and flat ITT


C=
An open race, maybe classic sprinters, but the last hill could be dangerous for a lot of them, because it's steep !


DAY10 :

A=
Mountain Stage, with two close last hills to try ...


B=
Mountain Stage, 8-8-8 to finish, short and nervous !


DAY11 :

A=
Welcome to the hell ! 29kms, 7.3%


B=
Welcome to the hell ! 29kms, 7.3%


DAY12 :

A=
A crazy circuit really open ! Who's fresh after the big day before ?


B=
A flat stage around the city, last hill : 2/2/4/4/3/2 !


C=
A short and classic ITT to finish ?


D=
A long TTT with a short (but steep) hill ... the reg after the hell of yesterday will be ... so important !

2- B / open finish
3- B / open finish
4- A / open finish
5- A / sprinters, rest for the leaders
6- C / no TT
7- A / open finish
8- A / sprinters
9- C (or maybe A or B, not sure yet...)
10- A / open race, interesting finish
11- B / more options than A for everybody
12- B / Sprinters, a circuit doesnt really fit in a tour

I wanted to go for a tour without time trial, since I think the race will be more open without it. Everybody has chances for GC, according to the race events and tactics employed by everybody. The managers will really make the race. Whereas a HC arrival or a TT have 90% of the time very obvious winners...
But there has to be a balance between sprinter stages, hill/classicsprinter stages and attack stages. And much stages seem available for a ks/hs. But another flat stage (for 9) might be too much as well, 4 seems better. Perhaps TT then ? But 40 kms... then the specialists might control everyday and the race will be less fun imo (maybe I'm wrong)... Most of the real tours are for them, better to do it without for once, isn't it? So let's go for C...

Start with a short Prologue, the following stages are for escapers/sprinters and at the 4th stage the classement will be formed for first time, after that again stages for esacpers/sprinters. The decision will be in the last 3 stage, with a brutal mountain stage and it ends in a ITT at the last stage.

1 B easy sprint, need sprints otherwise you risk not having the sprinters there.. so need sprint stages, our sprinters are pussies...
2 A sprint!
3 A not a climbers tour, give them as many stages as possible.
4 A: for classic riders I think, but not too much advantage to Hubers/climbers
5 A: For the guys with no balls.
6 B shorter ITT than the other option, so get this to let climbers/non TT classique riders a small chance.
7 B classic sprinters? Sounds ok.
8 A sprinters are pussies, if they don't have x very easy stages they don't show up. Just in case I hadn't mentioned it yet.
9 C classic guys/sprinters again..
10 A only stage for climbers with reg.
11 B although in the end it won't really matter which version
12 B one more and last chance for sprinters

Problem is that the result could be not realistic at all by counting this way...

If not, you could do it like that, or you can do it like that from the start:

Those of the proposed tours that has the most stages in common with the stage-by-stage-chosen tour is the winner. If there is more than one, Olmania just choses the one he likes better.
