Possibility of reintroducing short races

How feasible is it to reintroduce short races?
Would be helpful for testing IT/TTT settings, sprint trains, pave and other strategies and especially teaching rookies these things instead of written explanations.
Spelling mistakes are Special functions Like bugs that are functions of the game

That would be great, I miss those short races and new players could learn there!

Seems there is quite the demand for more racing action, could we please at least get any comment if short races are something for the future?
