You could start by creating fantasy races, to get an idea of how the editor works.Elmo-Tours wrote: ↑Fri Mar 27, 2026 2:10 pmThank you! I'll check the technical gpx-file stuff and the linked homepages at the weekend, try a bit by myself and then get back here.![]()

Re: April 2026
Can you give a few hints of what you actually need as fantasy? Do you have an overview? Because I am currently also designing a bit and would be helpful for me to know as wellcataracs wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2026 3:33 pmYou could start by creating fantasy races, to get an idea of how the editor works.Elmo-Tours wrote: ↑Fri Mar 27, 2026 2:10 pmThank you! Looks great at all! Thank you!
I thought the first stage is more uphill at the beginning (each of the first 2km's with at least 7%)?
At least on the homepage it looks more uphill: https://itzulia.eus/en/stages/bilbao-bilbao-2026/

Is that what you're looking for: https://ograncamino.gal/stage-1-2026?lang=en? Re: April 2026
Hello. No it's more an internal tag in our database. It is used to link the different editions of the same race (different years) with each other. For example, when you click on the profile of a race and go to history, you can see who else has won the race in the past.Elmo-Tours wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2026 6:03 pmIs that what you're looking for: https://ograncamino.gal/stage-1-2026?lang=en? O Gran Camino was just ridden in 2025 (Februar) maybe that's the reason there is no tag yet (or I cannot find it).

Re: April 2026
Maybe this is not the best place to discuss it. But in short: the looks depend on the max altitude selected and the scale is very differently. What is actually counting is the altitude change of one km to the other. When you upload a gpx file the editor calculates it automatically. Additionally, you can adjust. I usually adjust the last km and the climbs based on the official information that is available. Sometimes from the official website, sometimes from information on la-flamme-rouge, sometimes from the route and gpx itself.Elmo-Tours wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2026 6:03 pmIs that what you're looking for: https://ograncamino.gal/stage-1-2026?lang=en? O Gran Camino
Classification of stages was done by myself so far, didnt find info about this yet. Not sure if there are IS, profile they publish doesnt show any. Also no info if there are any dirt roads or pave involved, first look from my side doesn't look like but I didn't check very long.
Stage 1: ITT

Stage 2: hilly

Stage 3: hilly

Stage 4: mountain

Stage 5:mountain

All races now in calendar.
Design help much appreciated as always. I can do DDV today.

My fellow cyclingfreaks: ask not what the game can do for you - ask what you can do for the game.
Re: April 2026
The first post of this thread can use an update; Tour of the Alps for example is already getting designed. Would love to help but let's avoid double work of course...Gipfelstuermer wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2026 10:27 amAll races now in calendar.

Just for my own understanding: races to be checked means checking if the race from last year changed and apply those changes?
Thanks!

Re: April 2026
I can only do it if I know about it ^^ Did anyone raise their hand here or in the ingame editor chat?
Yes, exactly.
Maybe I need to re-phrase it to motivate more teams to work on that. "To be checked" maybe sounds like someone else has designed it already and only needs a review. But no, it means last year's version exists, but we need to compare with this year's version, which can easily be more work than designing a new race (comparison sometimes more complicated than designing new stuff).

Re: April 2026
They just spammed in game general chat about it :p. Maybe Taka can clarify which of the races to be designed are free to take still.Gipfelstuermer wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2026 10:36 amFalcor CC wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2026 9:31 am

- Total Climbs: Increased to 12 (compared to 10-11 in previous editions).
- New Climbs: Added Hellestraat (km 48) and Onderbossenaarstraat (km 107, 1.4km long, 10% max).
- Earlier Climbing: The hill zone begins 21km earlier than in 2025, with climbing starting after 47.7km (-> Hellestraat).
- Structure: The race retains the familiar Flemish Ardennes key spots, including double ascents of Berg Ten Houte, Côte de Trieu, and Hotond, with 7 cobblestone sections.
- Finish: The finale remains in Waregem after a double loop via the Nokereberg and Herlegemstraat.
- Length: approximately 185km

According to procyclingstats Giro C.M. di Reggio Calabria is cancelled. Will it be cut or are we using last year's version then?

It think last year it was not even part of our calendar so I am OK cancelling it in that case.Tukhtahuaev wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2026 6:14 pmAccording to procyclingstats Giro C.M. di Reggio Calabria is cancelled. Will it be cut or are we using last year's version then?

Re: April 2026
Tour of Alps is done, i set all stages to medium as the last years roadbook (this years is not avaible) says all stages give the same Points for Point classification.
