After the success of my little fantasy tour 3j de Bourgogne, I designed an other 3days tour !
With the news, I must work on the Mémorial Laurent Fignon

Not a tour on his historic roads (La Plagne, Cannes, Nice, Chambéry ...) because some of these places are used in a lot of official races the rest of the year.
But this tour answer to his fabulous skills of all-rounder :
Hard climb for the first stage
Nervous stage for the first half of the second day, maybe a sprint in a small group of strong riders
An ITT for classic riders specialists of the ITT
And the last stage, like a classic, very long and open with some hills and a really open and beautiful last 80kms ! A good show to finish this small tour.

Maybe a place for this tour in October or November.

Hi, hi !

So, This afternoon I did a new tour, for this winter or later. Because for example I saw that my lovely Vuelta a chihuahua is deleted this year for a stupid one day race ... We will have times for small fantasy tours ! We can put for example during the same week 2-3tours, with 2-3hours ... 2x3 ou 3x2 :D

My tour is following the Mekong from China to Cambodge, in 6days I can't follow all this river (I need a 2months tours to do that^^), but only small steps in interesting roads and landscapes ...
6days for this tour, like :
FLAT
HC
FLAT
Middle Mountain
HC
Middle Moutain

no ITT, stage 5 really important for the gk because the last 50kms are dangerous and interesting ! After the closed race of stage2, the stage5 will open new possibilities for the gk !
Green jersey for middlemountain sprinters I guess.
Redjersey will have to fight (almost) each day !
Nervous peloton on the finish lane of the last stage (5%/2%) for the 2 last kms.
Stage4 could be dangerous with big escapes or gk attack in HC or the small hills after. Day for big tactics maybe.

A long last hill with only the last km with 6% ! So the real sprinters can win it if they're able to follow on 5% ! A nervous downhill in the peloton, sure !
