Settings ITT

Post by Bugatti » Mon May 05, 2025 2:52 pm

Romandie 2nd ITT
The settings from the first ITT (Prologue) were saved and all riders were (in my case) set to 100% for the 2nd ITT.

As far as I know correctly, this was not the case before the big update and in my opinion a bug.

I can confirm this, settings were the same for me as well. Don't know if it's a bug, either way I don't think it's necessarily bad.

It's a feature after the redesign, as there are separate database columns now for ITT and TTT settings, while before tempo and fighting were reused. Therefore, the behavior was pretty random before the redesign, so I like it more now.

The usual question from my side: Why aren't players informed of changes?
Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!
Basics reform: Give blue a chance!
Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!
Got a carrot from FL. But they threaten to take it away now.

Yes, they were informed before the start of the race when they logged into the race.

Don't fully understand that comment. What do you mean exactly?

My comment:
They realized that everybody was on 100%. Which was different from what it used to be. And at least one concluded that it must be a bug. Just post stuff like that in the forum, makes life easier for everybody. This as far I saw wasn't even mentioned in the release notes. Post changes, people know, and don't post bug reports for wanted features.

Found this though:
TTT and ITT now also may count as offline.
Hm, so if you're offline for more than 60% in a 1 day TT you might get kicked? Or does the word "count" mean it's only for tours? And what does "may" mean exactly here? May. But may not? Anyway, 10 km TT... doesn't matter if in a stage race or in a 1 day race, it really doesn't matter if you're on or not, counting that as offline... in a tour ok, don't have a problem with it, you still need to be off over 60% of stages, but if it applies to 1 day races it's not really progress.
