Hello maybe a bit late to make this one with it being the start of a two week break and that in my 3rd season here. So I might as well give the current cast of riders their attention because it could be the last season with the original line-up.


Noah Beullens (Belgium):
Our leader and climber, it's pretty hard being a rider and manager at the same time . Shown to be a great leader with some good results. Still has a few years ahead of him. He is still hoping that he will win a race

Dennis Asters (Belgium):
Our 'classic'-rider. The lieutenant of Beullens and an absolute beast of a helper. Gets some good results but is mostly a rider of the second line but that might have changed with his great training period.

Eliot Lelyvite (Estonia):
A really good flat-rider who is a helper and attacker. He is the only rider who doesn't have somebody who speaks his native tongue but that doesn't hurt him.

Katepu Petoa (Vanuatu) NC:
Our sprinter. He might not be the best sprinter but he does exactly what is asked of him. Being the leader of our Vanuatuan part of the team makes him an important part of the leaders.

Mau Timuani (Vanuatu):
Also a great flat-rider. He is a helper with all his heart. He is loyal to Petoa and know what he has to do to keep his leader save. Tried his best to get the title but couldn't beat Petoa.

Paenui Selau (Vanuatu):
Pretty decent helper who knows his place in the team. Does the job he has to do. He struggles a bit by being so far away from his home all the time.

Alopua Metua (Vanuatu):
The second half of the Vanuatu helpers. Still has a few years left in him. His high point was the 1-2 with Tulimanu.

Tulimanu Tapasei (Tuvalu):
The oldest one of the Tapasei brothers. Is the best normal helper in the team. Really has a nose for getting in breaks which make it really far or even go to the end. He is the first one to get a non NC race win after his attack with Metua.

Paulo Tapasei (Tuvalu):
The youngest one of the Tapasei brothers. Is really good friends with Dennis after two years in the club. Loved the NC and riding in his home country. Looking forward to the time after his career. Definetely after the birth of his 3 child (3rd son) Dennis (Named after Asters).

Asaia Sapele (Tuvalu) NC:
The second best sprinter in the team. Loves to exmplore the world and always gives it his all. Took the NC after a dominant sprint over his teammates.

Kioa Sopoaga (Tuvalu):
Our hill-sprinter who is just a bit too weak to get over the hills with the stronger riders. He tries to train as well as he can and is doing a good job with the skills he has. He was a bit down after the NC where he was shadowed by other riders which meant he couldn't ride away with his teammates and needed to sprint for p5.

Matti Tumau (Tuvalu):
Our future flat beast. He is the only one who wasn't here at the start because he was bought for season 2. Being so young means he will be a pillar for the future of the team to built on. The entire team tries to help him as much as they can through his road of becoming captain of the team.



Wins in october:
NC Vanuatu: After a pretty easy ride to get all 4 riders in front it was all down to a sprint. Petoa kept it cool and collected the moment he saw Timuani could follow him. The moment Timuani took the beat was the moment Petoa won the race.

NC Tuvalu: After a struggle to get away and a hard race 4 of the 5 riders got away and could fight for the title. Because of the fact that Sopoaga was the one left behind, made it a pretty easy win for Sapele. He learned from the win of Petoa and won from the front.

Tour de Tipaza 1b: After some tempo in the early hills of the team to catch the break the race died down. Tulimanu and Metua wanted to get animo in the race and attacked. The peloton didnt chase and they worked themselves over the last hill to go downhill to the finish. They kept the upcoming Havel and the rest of the peloton behind to make it a sprint-à-deux. Metua tried but couldn't beat the faster Tulimanu who gave the team its first real win.



I think that this was pretty good. I think i will do a december recap when the month is over and keep everyone up to date to the team. So this should become a monthly thing. I hope the team will take adventage of this 2 week break because of my exams and that they will be back for the rest of the month.

Beullenscycling 1K Club:

Noah Beullens is the first rider in the history of the club to get 1,000 points. He did it today during the 5 Dias en Atacama tour. In his third season for the club he is the first to reach this milestone. He did this during a time where there weren’t really a lot of race where a lot of points could be scored. At the end of the season he will be inaugurated with a certificate on the wall of the clubhouse (we ain’t the biggest and richest team). We expect to get a bunch more riders in this club when the real cycling races begin and the big points races will be back.

Hello everybody the December season is done and with that 2024 as a whole is done. I'm going to go over the season of the team.

The team had a really good season with all the good placements of the team. The team didn't get a win (which is no suprise). We earned a lot more money this season than the other 2 seasons we've had.

About the team line-up for the Januari 2025 season all current riders will stay:

Noah Beullens: He will stay as the leader in the mountain races
Dennis Asters: Has become a really decent classic who will be the leader in the hilly races.
Eliot Lelyvite: Will stay as one of the better helpers.
Katepy Petoa: He will stay the sprinter for the team and will preparate for the classics in februari.
Mau Timuani: Will stay at the team as helper and will also preparate for the classics in februari.
Paenui Selau: Thought about leaving the team and the sport in its entirety but he has chosen to stay at least one more season.
Alopua Metua: Will stay as a helper.
Tulimanu Tapasei: Will be the helper and still has a nose for the breakaway.
Paulo Tapasei: Will be a helper and a mental support for Asters.
Asaia Sapele: He will be the second sprinter but he kinda struggles with his role in the team.
Kioa Sopoaga: He will be helper in the mountain races and try to be the hill-sprinter of the team.
Matti Tumau: He is still the hot prospect when it comes to his flat stat, he will probably be flat-rider number 1 and be the most important helper.


The team has also bought a new young rider to come and help the team out, here i present to you:
Jordan Tasip (Vanuatu)
Jordan will probably be the cheaper replacement of a rider like Sapele during mountain races but should become the lieutenant of Asters in the races made for classics. He should first help Asters to eventually take his place in the team and become the leading classics rider.

Beullenscycling 1K Club:

2 days ago Dennis Asters got himself as second of the team ever the 1K points total. He has shown that he is the most productive rider of the team. a rider that can ride on every terrain and is great as an classic when it gets tough.
I probably will do one more inaugeration and after that just will do it when the season is over, but for now

Big teambuilding news
After lobying by Timuani during the last season the team has chosen to implement a new rule. After the riders of the Vanuatuan nationality didn't like that they were down a man against the Tuvaluans they wanted to implement a rule. Because Tasip joined the team the 'problem' was ressolved and a agreement was made in the background.
The rule is the next one:
From this day 16/01/2025 no nationality could be shared by more than 40% of the riders. Vanuatu and Tuvalu should always have the same amount of riders, so when it comes to team voting they can't be pulled to one side by any of the nationality's. When a rider of one of the countries above leaves the team should strive to replace the rider the same season with a fellow countrymen. The team may not have the financial situation to be able to complete the last part and could get 1 season where it may be imbalanced. In that case a rider of the least presented country gets an extra vote to vote in team votings.

With this rule implemented it means that the next rider will probably be a replacement or come from another country. The team is not sure yet if the next rider will come from a country the manager likes (Liechtenstein, Belize, Barbados, to give examples) or countries closer or in Oceania (Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and as far as Vietnam we think)

January 2025 was a pretty good month for the team. Lots of good finishes, best season financially yet (only 7k more than last month, but still). No win for the team. No changes to the team as Selau will stay to retire at the team. This should be his last season at the team (unless we can make him stay to the end of february instead of the beginning). The NC's are just around the corner so everybody of Vanuatu and Tuvalu are waiting to ride for their friends and family in their home-countries. I hope I will be able to ride them. Furpach will be the biggest competitor in both. We'll see how the parcours and timings turn out.

Time for me to look back at february and share my thoughts about the month.
Our team had one of their best months yet even tho we should have been relegated to DIV4. A really strong performance by many riders in team which resulted in 4 wins.

Krawatencross. Matti Tumau.
After an attack where all teams had one rider in front. Matti waited till the second to last lap to attack out of the group where ECS was pacing. After getting almost instantly a nice gap Matti gave it his all in the fast-paced sandcourse close to the waters of Lille. Crossing the line alone for his first ever win.

Circuito de la Guafilla. Katepu Petoa.
After a good break together with Radsport it went to an expected sprint where our 3 man sprint-train (Sopoaga, Sapele, Petoa) was the only organised team. After the other sprinters had to already catch up to the wheel of our train Sweetlemmon started sprinting. To that Sapele answered with leading in the sprint for Petoa where as Lula with Espriella needed to class yet another gap to catch our wheel. With 100 metres to go Petoa launched himself to victory, catching Sweetlemmon and holding of Lula. It is his second ever victory.

With the most riders and only needing to deal with Furpach the team tried some different attacks untill Paulo Tapasei, Sapele and Sopoaga could get away. Going to a 4% finish it would be a close fight for the title. Tapasei knew he had nothing to win didnt sprint and let the other 2 go their way. Sopoaga was the stronger one and started the sprint first. The rule was you need to sprint the first from 450 after that it is all them. Sopoaga managed to put Sapele on a small gap which at 400m he changed to follow again which brought him back to the wheel. Immediately after that he went besides Sopoaga who know that those 50 metres that Sapele could follow would give him the win. Sapele sprinted Sopoaga even on more than a bike length to claim his second national title.

NC Vanuatu. Jordan Tasip.
Same story as Vanuatu but only way stronger Furpach riders. After some struggles to make Bani tired the only thing that happened was Selau and Metua getting tired. When Kalpokas attacked Tasip the one who was our leader for the race couldnt follow the attack. Kalpokas quickly rode away more than a minute. After the entire team riding together to pull us closer Tasip and Timuani started to do it alone to pull Kalpokas back in the last kms. With a followed Bani attacked who got catched by the entire group again we went to the last Orange km. Tasip was able to escape there and hold of a last km attack by Bani. Timuani being able to follow the late attack was so out of breath he couldnt even sprint for p2. Tasip our young 'Hotshot' was able to clinch his first national title.

Our newest rider will be our future climber from Liechtenstein. We hope he can replace Beullens in the future and be our favorite in the Mountain races.


For the rest there is not a lot to talk about except maybe Selau still not being able to retire (Sorry Paenui). Also Sopoaga did get to the 1K club but as i said i abolished it. Maybe i just mention it here

Here i am for march. Bad month we don't care and we because of a vacation didnt ride 10 races in april. Everybody stayed and one new youn guy came to us
