the problem is in my opinion that pave only starts costing above 70 if I read those lines correctly?
that means that those young riders who are barely above 70 pave it means nearly nothing, but it gets way out of oder ones you get more pave.

and the fact that there are a riders who cost 1,xx Mio as a 21 y old and are now worth more than 4Mio as 25 y olds.

before the pave extra price was linked to the age? maybe introduce that in the formula or change it overall and make one up you like.

but it can't be that the values of the high pave riders are exploding like this.

with the current valuation pave teams would be by far the best way to farm money, will do a more detailed post tomorrow, but Wahli from Hansa would be at net 0% tax with a team tax rate of 52.86%

with net tax i mean what is paid extra after selling at current valuation with tax included when substraction the initial buying price

Jus as a note: Technically, I can do different calculations depending on age, pave skill, etc in the same place, it's just important to have it in one central place like in the past. However, this needs to be done carefully, as you can see the code is not that simple. The good news is that I can test it on the test environment before fixing it in the main game.

I did not have the time to read everything. But Forrest Riesco with value of $4,153,865 is way too much imo. But anyway, ... there might be ideas to change it in the future. But please, not without telling anybody onn monthchange. From one day to the other I lost 700k just because of new values. Because values are higher, my tax is higher. So for selling Tom I get only 700k instead of 1,4mio. Maybe I would have sold him with 33 if I knew that. Furthermore, with all results, I couldnt sell him and couldnt buy a young climber. I dont complain, because I know shit (bugs) happens. But please, we cant keep it like this now.

And if you are not fixing the Pave value bug currently because its to complicated you can look in the selling price Bug of My Oskar Althaus and Hyman Buller from Schartner Bombe, Oskar can be sold over his market Value and Buller can be sold for to much too. Poke mentioned some of his rider have the same problem.

I did a quick, temporary fix now, I applied the old market value calculation on all riders, which are currently in teams. It's slightly off from the expected value as there has been one training session in between. Please check, if it roughly looks like expected again.

so my riders do look ok but 30 year old Oskar increased in Value after you update from 650K to 760K not sure why exactly. but 760K could be fine for his value i am not sure what it should be

Do you have a backup, or history from the end of December? Might be helpful to compare.

In my case Fortuny now almost seems too little value (which is better than too much) salary 2k higher than Chassot (while having less points) but value below Chassot. While being 5 years younger, which has an effect on the value, but not the salary.
But possible that's the way it should be, never really looked at the value so much before. But if you have data from December, could make it all clear.

Ok. Looking a bit closer it doesn't look 100% accurate at all. How and when is the selling price calculated? Because they are not right in relation to the value.

I have 3 exceptional riders (Firiam reduced price, Hopfield and Schetelig with sales penalty days in team).

For the rest of the riders, I pay tax between 46.8% (Obst) and 74.3% (Babai) most riders are somewhere close to my normal tax (70%) but some are way off (mostly those where the correction had the most influence Obst, Frucht, Banane, Sommerfeld)

For reduced riders, the sales price is based on the purchase price and I initially forgot to update that. But did it now, can you check again?

But when the value increased? Firiam now has 71% tax, he was at 87 mountain at the age of 25 if that helps

At least for my team it looks ok, got a tax of 32,94%, although i would have sold lisowicz gladly for around 2,5 Mio and i liked the value of more than 4 mio for polievka

Interesting for me is the difference between Polievka und Lisowicz - didn't notice that in the first place...

The combined rating is missing and ignore the absolute values as the age factor correct them. Pave looks definitely off even if you take into account that mountain, reg, and TT are higher in reality, depending on each other.

I just checked with one eye... but value of pave riders look better (lower) now. So the tax also went down again and price for Tom is again more or less the same than before.

As i see Ivanov, the market value is lower now with 33 than the value with 21years.
he decreased his market value from 3700k to 2200k since yesterday.

Another bug for selling riders: some riders can be sold for more than there value (thats different to the to high value for some riders) for example:

Tbh I didn't check my team last month but after I updated all my calculation sheets for February i realized there is (still) an issue with sales price for those who where not purchased with a reduced price.
E.g. Paolo Mori:
Bought im as 20 yo talent on 11.09.2024 for 2.870.000 $.
Todays Value: 4.019.944 $,
Reduced Purchase: 3.838.294 $
Tax (59,95 %) are deducted from the Reduced Purchase even though he never was parchuased during an auction.

This is currently for all riders of my team where value is higher than payed price at action.
