Hello ECS. Nice to have new active managers and also new active designers. Just a few hints:ECS Cycling wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2024 12:34 amHello, here's my idea for a five stage tour in Greece.
You can link the profil directly using the "Bild einfügen" button ""
see:
To get the links you can right click on the profil that is shown in the editor and then "copy image adress"
You additionally have to create a Stage Race in the "Race Editor" tab for your tour. You can link the profiles for each stage within the "Stages" section and give names, stage types and other info.
PS: You also need to create a race in the "Race Editor" for one day races and link the profil. Otherwise, the calendar planers will not consider them. If you have further questions you can use this thread: http://www.radsportfreaks.de/RSFForum/v ... 68#p121868
PPS: Usually stage races offer intermediate sprints and KOM (mountain points). You can insert them in manually in the editor as well

A few tours
Tour of British Columbia
This race takes place in the southern part of British Columbia, the western province of Canada.
St 1: Hilly route around Canada. The cat 2 has one 11% km and the stage could be decided on the final cat 4.
St 2: Pretty flat until the final cat 1, 7 of the last 10 kms are 10% or greater.
St 3: Up and down, two early climbs but a flat 50km to the finish could let the pure sprinters come back.
St 4: Short ITT with a summit finish, race could be decided here. Whistler is also home to a ski resort, in the summer it's turned into a mountain bike park.
Balkan Tour
A 6 day tour around the balkans.
St 1: Early climbs, should come together for a flat finish.
St 2: shorter race, goes up to the finish, chance for classics or hillsprinters.
St 3: Summit finish in Bulgaria, nothing greater than 10%.
St 4: Cat 1 for the finale, flat for a few kms to the finish. Climb isn't that difficult, just long.
St 5: Flat race, for the sprinters.
St 6a: Final day is two half stages, first is in Zagrab, the capital of Croatia. Starts with a big cat 2, but plenty of time for the group to get back together for a likely sprint finish.
St 6b: Slightly hilly final ITT in Split, on the coast of Croatia.

The Tour of California
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tour_of_California
The tour of california was once a UCI stage race from 2006 to 2019, and as there are no plans to bring it back, I propose we ride it, as a fantasy race.
The first stage in San Diego is a hilly race with a punchy climb at the end.
The first half stage is a flat race by the bay.
The second half stage is a hilly circuit in the north section of LA.
The third stage is a hilly race from San Fransisco to San Jose, taking some dirt roads along the way.
Flat stage in Sacramento, the capital of california.
Mountain Stage with several large climbs.
Small hills, should be a sprint finish.
High mountain stage, should decide GC.
