My youth rider Younès Banane (Morocco) already had a green light and is now again yellow.

I have used this page to verify the name:

https://forebears.io/x/de/forenames/youn%C3%A8s
https://forebears.io/x/de/surnames/banane

Please give him back his green light, thanks!

I want to add the contact information of this website for desert travels in Marrakesch. Maybe it helps you to consider the name as realistic, if not real.

Your links are not convincing enough. Banane is not a real surname and it doesn't sound like one either...

Some suspicous things happening here.

1) The name got accepted first, Younes was already shown with a green circle. So who did accept it in the first place?
2) Who did change the status back to questionable (I guess r Taka)? Thought this is not possible, or is this just the case for too old cases (see my waerl riders post earlier)?
3) Who did execute the decision now (I guess r Taka)?
4) Why where there no discussions in the NC for a case that already was treated differently?
5) Why didn't you use 4 eyes principle as I guess it is supposed to work normally?
6) Why didn't Chemnitz Pro Cycling Team handle the (newly opened) case although it was assigned to him?
7) Why was the decision taken in such a hurry. I didn't even receive an in-game message from the NC or a request to clarify anything.

For me it looks like it was not handled with care. If the decision of the NC is, that the name doesn't exist, I am fine with it. But I want at least another member of the NC to be involved in the case.

To the case: I have provided contact info from a person at a travel agency website from Marrakesh. Further from the main chat:
Elaska(13:09): He asked if I know someone named like that. But the last name Banane must exist for sure. Or Baanane 100% it does

The NC was built to work like that...

The NC members take the blame though for never really asking for updates.

As for this case AAD, I'm north African myself so I'm more used to those nations names and Banane sounds unrealistic. In the second link you provided it's probably just a nickname not the surname.

For Elaska I just asked him to make sure my decision is right, and he just confirmed by saying 100% for Banane and "must exist" for Banane

Work like? What? Everbody free to do anything he wants? From what I know there is some kind of 4 eyes principle. You decided on that case alone with others already accepting on the nation.

So update on the Odyssey. Today during our race, Chemnitz agreed on the Nation. Banane got the green circle again. Now r Taka alone took it away again and confirmed it. So once again, why are you on such a hurry on that case concerning a 20 year old guy? No answers to my questions. No second NC member agrees with you on that case.

I know you are, thats why I try to convince you. But I really fear that you are not willing to decide on the case objectively, when it is concerning my rider. I know I provoked you about your NC in the past and now, but as someone that uses offensive language all the time, you should be able to handle it and stay objective on that case. So why should it be a nichname then? It is a professional website contact information. As mentioned in the chat already, there might be different ways how to transcription. Sounds realistic that Baanane, Banani and Banane are just different transcription of the same original arabic name.

You asked him to 100% ignore what he says? He said "He asked if I know someone named like that. But the last name Banane must exist for sure. Or Baanane 100% it does"

Sorry for the late reply. Name changes are not possible, just the nation change if provided. I took another look at the rider and Timber Land is not a common English name. Sorry for that.

Nations Committee! Still going strong, bringing people to the forum, providing emotion to the game. GG!

I had played ages ago and just returned yesterday - today you remind me of one reason why I quit back then. ;) So thx for that. I just got a message regarding my rider "Urs EhrlicherGwinner" informing me about your ongoing discussions about his name's degree of trottelbility. I thought the former "Kein Name!" supported the general unfriendliness of this name-judging process way better... But I like the fact you still provide no information about the issue and just demand "proof". At least this feels comfortably familiar.

Due to my experience I guess it's not the missing hyphen that finds your displeasing, provided you can't give a hyphen in the form. ;) So you probably question the last names as such. I'm not gonna visit Switzerland to get access to official name databases but settle for other indicators I quickly find on the net, to paint a picture of probability. If you judge this "proof" insufficient, so well, go ahead, act out on your power as you please. The Committee taketh, the Committee giveth. Who cares at the end of the day.

If there is any question about the first name "Urs", please don't hesitate to give me another one of those nice, impersonal messages.

Hello Lord Kelmchen,

welcome back in this wonderful game.
The NC is a 100% voluntarily working group to maximise the immersion in this game.
At the moment we are not able to send users a personal msg, because the system is automatically generating a response to you based on our decisions.
But, it would be very difficult to reply for each decision with a personal msg (big amount of requests).

Therefore there is the system to give us a clear clarification from the manager, e.g. Gwinner and Ehrlicher to be seen as double name.
Easy to decide with given clarification.
Sadly, after no response (sure sometimes we are perhaps too fast ;-) ) occured, the decision was done without knowing your intention of this name.

The easiest way for everyone would be like some managers still doing it.

Name your rider, put in additional information e.g. a link/description which clarifies it.
That will be less work for the NC which is only a group of voluntary people who like to support this game because we love it. There is no bonification or sth like that for the work. And you can talk with everyone of us in a normal manner everytime, i think. :-)

Wish you a pleasant evening and looking forward to meet you in a race

Thx for the information. I'm sure we could argue about the importance of your job and the best way to handle it, but that's not my point. In my view the name giving could be a great fun feature, but the way it is (and has been), a lot of times the opposite is true. I'm at a point where I'd wish you / the game would just put up a database, from which allowed names can be selected. That way you'd be saved your hard voluntary work and players like me the unpleasant and annoying experience(s).

Hi,

wrote Chemnitz a PN this morning, but just to make it official:
I got a message this morning, that Chad Wilcox might lose his new zealand-nationality.
I litteraly dont see a single reason for that.. because its not a indigious name? that would be ridiculous!
i mean.. for example captain of the national soccer team is Chris Wood, whos name is pretty much the same in every point of view and even carries the same shortcut -CW-
i really have no clue what you are complaining about, so please tell me..

sorry - its me again..
new message tells me another rider is in discussion..
i actually dont know if this message means i am asked to react here, but of course i have tons of arguments for every single of my riders names.

rider in discussion here:
shlomi feingold
proves:
https://www.transfermarkt.de/shlomi-arb ... eler/43982
https://www.transfermarkt.de/shlomi-shl ... ner/136848

the dude above is even litteraly called shlomi shlomo - what i thought about would be a hilarious name, too

and furthermore:
https://www.transfermarkt.de/ilay-feing ... ler/945017

so, case closed i guess
