Re: Robyfiles!
While waiting for Wallonie and San Sebastian to come online on la flamme rouge, some 1 day races. We have sprint stages problems actually, so more is better...
Easy no sieb sprint, 9 riders, 150 km, 30 km mintact. Perfect.
South Moravian Grand Prix, 2 siebs, between km 90+100. Rest max. 9 riders 164 km, 30 km mintact
Zilina-Poprad:
140 km, 30 km mintact, 1 sieb, a 6 at km 110. 8 riders
Ivano-Frankivsk - Ternopil
124 km, 2 climbs with siebs, 6 1 7 the first, a single 6 the second. 8 riders, 30 km mintac
Volgograd-Kamyshin
191 km, 9 riders, 31 km mintact, no intermediates, no siebs

Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!
Got a carrot from FL. But they threaten to take it away now.

Re: Robyfiles!
Some Bear races.
Panda Cup
122 km, hilly, 1 single 6 in the final climb, rest is 4-3. 8 riders, probably 30 km mintact, forgot...
Sloth Bear Cup
One for the winter, so we don't forget Bears. 98 km, 8 riders, flat. 30 km mintact I suppose.
Kodiak Bear Cup
154 km, 8 riders, flat on Kodiak Island, from the main village to some cattle ranch and back. 3 siebkm, 6+6+7, last one over 50 km from the finish
Grizzly Bear: Hilly race, 2 laps in Homer, one flat, one hilly, both 4 times in different order. 156 km, 8 riders 46 km mintact
Polar Bear:
152 km, 8 riders, 30 km mintact. except the first and last km all *. Maybe could be more, but the danger shouldn't come from gravel but from Polar Bears. So really a flat race, not a cobble/gravel race.

I will be back for the Bear races in winter for sure!!
Re: Robyfiles!
With nobody else designing and flat races becoming scarce... Few RKL races, hoping to inspire others.
Maryland. Highly challenging sprint race for 8 riders
In Washington DC at least there are bits with more than 2%. 6 riders
A bit more challenging, last siebkm still far away, but penultime km a 5
Some races in Asia too:
Tokyo, following places where the Donkey lived, start finish and intermediates. Some hills in the middle, but shouldl still be an easy sprint. 9 riders
For once a hilly race, hills with GPMs are siebable.
And North Korea wanted a race too: 8 riders, sprint, sprint close to the border with South Korea, so might be dangerous if either side starts firing.

Re: Robyfiles!
To relax after idiotic Gent-Wevelgem and hopefully to inspire others some fantasy races:
Sprint, 5 5 the climb in the final circuit
Hilly, last siebkm 70 km from the end, but the hills are quite steep before that.
Hillier, but not enough for climbers, last climb too easy.

3 more culinary races
First one again in the culinary capital of the world (or so I was told, or imagined being told): Carinthia
Käsnudel, actually looks rather good after looking at it somewhere on the Internet.
9 riders, middle mountain race, hard climb the Kreuzberg, but after that no siebkm for 100 km, until 10 km from the end there is a km at 6%, that should eliminate all sprinters with illusions of culinary greatness.
Next another famous culinary speciality of Austria. Hm, Austria? Think that was Austria. And if it's Austria it's of course Carinthia!
From the Aeussere Einöde to Klagenfurt, or as it's also known, Innere Einöde. (I think) A sprint race this time, Siebkilometers in the 2 early climbs, Treffelsberg and Langegg. Nothing after, so the sprinters should enjoy the Austrian race of the Einöden, that's where Kangooroos live, in the Einöde.
Not to make LIechteinstein feel unappreciated, we have the race for the world famous Rebl. I suspect it was imported by Carinthians immigrants who had enough of the Einöde, but who knows, maybe the Liechtensteiner came up with it themselves. Unfortunately we really can't imagine the taste of it, thought about visiting Liechtenstein today, but FL told us to come tomorrow... won't be possible, so no Rebl for the moment. The race, 3 hard laps, followed by 3 easier laps, but there still is a 12 on the Schellenberg, then 3 laps of the easy and flat final circuit. Only 8 riders, since otherwise there might not be enough Hotels in Liechtenstein. And not enough Rebl. That's why this race for sure will be programmed very soon, if we get more managers again, Liechtenstein couldn't deal with the big influx of riders, staff and fans.

3 more culinary races.
Since we lack flat fantasy races, flat. This time managed to keep them flat, don't always succeed...But maybe inspires others to try to design flat races too? Even hilly ones are welcome of course.
Wallis, no idea what it is, read it, already forgot. Being Wallis/Valais having enough wine with it is probably more important anyway. 2 hills, but should still be at least for hill sprinters.
Tortellini in Brodo. Since it seems Modena and Bologna can't agree where Tortellini come from, we start in Bologna and end in Modena. Passing by Castelfranco Emilia, which seems to be the sort of compromise (that nobody really believes?) that both can live with. First 4 times the loop over San Luca, the end of the Giro dell'Emilia, then completely flat.
So since there isn't agreement, we go from Modena to Bologna as well. This one completely flat.

Time for some fantasy races
Wonderful cherries of Yamagata.
147 km, 9 riders, flat, max 4%
Celebrating the famous cherries of Yamagata. The main region seems to be in the valleys around Yamagata City, so where we start, no cherry picking at the finish!
Heavenly Grapes of Nagano:
Yes, grapes from Nagano, the best. Or so an acquaintances from Nagano prefecture assures me. Other people say Yamanashi, but according to my source they just make better wine. Nagano is top for grapes to eat. Or maybe it was the other way around? Be it as it may, the grapes of Nagano have to be celebrated.
131 km, 9 riders, flat but 3 climbs, the 2 cat 4 climbs are both 1 km at 6%, the cat 3 is 10 9 6
Pretty average Apples of Aomori.
161 km, 9 riders. 2 loops of 81 + 80 km, nothing more than 4% in the second loop, only 2 km a 6% in the Mount Iwaki loop, looks more impressive than it is, so should be a very easy sprint. Start and finish in Fujisaki, which seems to be where the most famous apples in Japan come from. Overpriced (like all fruits in Japan) and Japanese think Apples need to be peeled. Pretty average fits.

Re: Robyfiles!
To relax from annoying PN designing 2 fantasy races
Inspired by the Tour du Rwanda, 4 circuits near the capital, East, North, West and South, as the name brilliantly says. One IS per lap, plus the highest point of each lap is a GPM. 180 km The end didn't turn out exactly as hoped, last sieb, 6%, at km 163, hoped more closer to the end, then the finish a 5%. Ok, hoped for less, but saw that one coming really, thought I cut a km then if it is over 3, but since the last sieb is a bit further than hoped, ok like this.
Sprint in Sardinia, the 2 hills aren't all that hard, max 6%, 5 of them between the 2 climbs. So should be an easy sprint really. 9 riders.

157 km, 1 big climb, rest is last siebkm 133, after that quite a few 4 but nothing more, -1 finish, mintact 126, 9 riders
193 km, no siebkm, max 4, 9 riders, mintact 162, Mostly slight downhill, we lose 990 meters over this stage. Actually hoped to put in a small climb early on, but went to Issyk Kul instead.

Another 2 fantasy races
But have to admit, each time I try the new editor again, it pisses me off, small working space, no overwiew whatsoever, jump back to km one nonstop plus complicated thing like naming, etc in another tab... brrrr
Anyway, hilly, should be for classics, not climbers, even if the 2 last real hills are kind of steep, but the long one probably too far? Worth a try maybe. 161 km, mintact at 132
182 km, mintact 152, 9 riders. 6 hills at 6 or 7%, last one km 129

Re: Robyfiles!
Instead of only complaining about the lack of flat pavé, I tried designing one.
It's mostly the same sectors as in the Ronde van Drenthe I guess. Hope I rated them more or less similarly didn't bother to check. If completely different, blame the weather.
Basically took this route: https://www.komoot.com/collection/96005 ... en-cobbles
First 12 km, 2 sectors, then added a 58 km detour back to the start then the full 112 km of that route, to make it a decent length. Not sure I got the pavé in the exact right place either
9 riders, 182 km, mintact at 140

188 km. 9 riders, 1 km at 6, one at 7, still an easy sprint. Double 5 towards the end. km 158 mintact
Last of the Bulgarian series, 188 km, very hilly, but still a sprint stage. 8 riders, 2 siebkm, both 6, where the GPMs are. +2 last km. Mintact 158
A criterium: 4 riders, mintact in the last km. As it should be for criteriums.

Re: Robyfiles!
158 km, 9 riders, mintact 128. 4 climbs on the Palos Verdes peninsula, the last 3 with siebkms. So hilly, but more likely for hill sprinters than for classics.
184 km, 30 km mintact. 9 riders Hilly start, but most of the GPMs aren't that hard. A 7 in the first one, a 6 in the second, another in the third, 6 9 7 8 is the HC, the last climb at km 80 is only a 6. After that max 4. So classified as flat, with 100 km left it should be possible for flat sprinters to come back, if they work together. +1 finish

Wanted to do some races in Romania next, after Bulgaria, but Schappy now beat me to it. Will think of somewhere else...

Oregon Cycling Cup
Flat, 1 siebkm, 9 riders, 173 km, mintact at 144
Washington Cycling Cup

Basics reform: Give blue a chance!
Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!
Got a carrot from FL. But they threaten to take it away now.

Re: Robyfiles!
2 races in Japan, Shikoku to be more precise
Kenzaburo Oe Memorial Race
Kenzaburo Oe, Nobel prize winner for literature, pacifist, leftist, automatic trigger for right wingers, died this year. Born somewhere near the start, in the mountains of Shikoku. Deserves a race!
Very hilly, the end easier, 163 km, mintact at 132 before the second last climb, last one has 1 km at 11%.
9 riders
Ehime Cycling Cup
Same prefecture, Ehime, 9 riders as well, 194 km. Start on Sadamisaki peninsula, very hilly, but we mostly follow the cost, so the race won't be so hilly. Before the entrance to the prefectural capital we cross Inuyose pass, then after Matsuyama on the way to Imabari the hardest climb in a mountain range that might be called Takanawa mountains... a 13% at km 158 though is the last difficulty of the day. After that nothing over 4% remains. Mintact km 156

Re: Robyfiles!
Chiapas Cycling Cup
194 km, hilly, fewer steep km than you'd think, the long climb has only 8 km at over 6%, 1 8%, second last km is a 6%. Then a lap in San Cristobal de las Casas, with a 7 6 2 km downhill, then a final 6 at km 184 and then down and flat till the goal.
8 riders, 30 km mintact.
Oaxaca Cycling Cup
182 km, 9 riders, 2 km at 6% or more, last one a 9% right after the intermediate in Zimatan. Last 2 hills are 5 5 (here might be cheating and one of them a 6 in reality) and 4 4 4 3 5 the last one. So should normally be a rather easy sprint.
