For the 1 day race "Rund um Allagen" 22h it happened too.
I believe the time when it happened was exactly when the end calculation was going to happen (1 minute after the sprint finished).

This is the result which now seems to be gone.
Reg etc. went normal but some riders are underreg so I have to sit out today anyway

This is the race result at least for the top placements. At the moment I can still access the race from race screen ("Rennen") and it shows the error:

So yesterday the stage long of 194 km frozen at km 185.
Couldn't see all the discussion of the day, but there was 3 options : finish race / freeze the result / start completely the stage.
Don't know why start again the stage, a TT day, with the same following setting of the moment the race froze was decide. But IMO could be nice to have a clear rule on what happened if a bug block a race for the day, for one day race and for stage races as consequence aren't the same.

FSG Sattelpuper(11:29): Kurz eine Erklärung auf Deutsch, da reicht mein englisch nicht. ohne die orginale reg, sind die Sprinter in ersten Gruppe klar bevorteilt, ich hätte mit Erik z.B. noch eine Attacke gefahren bei 880+ energie und der hätte kaum einer folgen können oder sie blocken, eventuell noch Henri und ein Fahrer von Polsat, der Rest dürfte nicht mehr ganz so viel Energie bessen haben. die 6 Sekunden Vorsprung sind eingearbeitet. Verdient hat dann zwar keiner was, aber da viele ehr teuer unterwegs sind, dürfte das nicht das große Problem sein.

General discussion seems to be:

Would we rather extend the tour for the number of buggy stages or are we OK with cancelling the stage and therefore eventually change the character of a tour. Poke wants a general guideline, so let's discuss.

Character of the tour doesn't apply for the Dauphine stage but Poke wants it general, so we have to treat the bug discussion as what happens if we ride an 8 day tour with 7 flat stages and 1 mountain day. Of course, we get the bug at the mountain stage. Worst case scenario, always prepare for worst case scenarios...

Imo no question we don't cancel the mountain stage. Poke said the extension of Dauphine like tour situations could lead to losing players.

I think changing the unnecessary cancelling of stages is way worse and could really lead to losing players in a worst case scenario. While a one day or 2 day extention is just a mild annoyance for me.

Other opinions are welcome.

Main point is that some have a life outside C4F, won't check the game every 30min during 1 day because they work or have some activities with family or friends.
Maybe I am the only one like that, but when I sign up in a 3 days, 8 days or a 23 days tours I try to adapt my others stuff to that too. So if I discover after work that all stages moved by one day that can be hard, as maybe I scheduled something on a short stage or I ride on a field because I can ride at this time just because I am in holidays.

Well, in general it is just a reaction to a bug. So imo there is no "standard" procedure for that. Best case is that all concerned agree to a proposed technical solution, but it's clear that you are not expected to be available for responding 24/7. So whats the alternative? Going for a technical solution that is thought to be the best of all bad solutions. Personally for me, a canceling stages is worse than extending the stage race, as it can change the character of a stage race and some also ride such races for other goals than GC, if now the cancelation changes the chances for a jersey, its not really nice. But I can also understand if teams cannot "extend" the duration of a tour, but still here you have alternatives like sitters or offsettings to help you out.

Sitters and offline setting is an alternative if you know you need a sitter and have enough time to search for it.
I am agree with you when you say that cancelling a stage change a tour, but postponed the stage if not all are aware also. And not only for the tour itself. If Pais Vasco had the same bug, would we postponed it even if that means not riding PR or postponed PR ? I guess no.
But it isn't because we have several possibilities that we can't write them to avoid some misunderstanting.
