Hello something strange happened today in the Mass sprint.


Finish was a +1 and the sprint log was this:

I dont get it, the +1 cannot make up 7 points or more for Supertramp and there are no 9 points available for Zurawski randomly
Can anyone explain this to me? And no Joker wasnt helping anybody, i checked it 2km before the end and only had 1 tab rsf open, + the 88sprinter is behind Joker. so why do i get a malus? against all others sprinting from 50m, like Hushovd or the others (expect gardas sprinter)?????????

Pimpi and Hushovd also from 50m? What about Form and Power? At least Supertramp and Zurawski probably had around 20-40 more power than Joker. And another question: From where do you know the differences for the sprint from 500m and 50m?

The other 2 sprinters went earlier so dont look at them, well the difference for 50m is 1 point, thats no secret or did that change? Form of Joker is great so dont bother about form too, power hm you see Joker ended up with 912, had about 960 or more before the sprint so this doesnt make up too much, still loosing against a 64sprint?

22 more mountains at +1 shoudn't make up 7 sprint points... Plus Zuravski with 41 there too..

The only logical explanation I can see is: Joker was helping somebody. But almost can't imagine that you put him on help? Would be like helping a classic guy with a climber on a mountain top finish, like Mastrangelo helping Marxer or something. Only an idiot would do that. Mmh, FL riders... hihi.
Did you change some helper settings in the last km in the "race screen"? There it can happen that when you click, somebody goes in or out of tempo and you click on the rider above or below the one you wanted to click, since they "move". Happened a few times to me. Check the helping of Joker now, in case you haven't changed anything yet... Because that really seems to be the only "non bug" explanation for his result. But ok, Morimoto 88 who is behind him sprinted at 50 too. unlikely he was helping somebody as well.... ? Strange. Some weird bug, Supertramp and Z. just seem way to strong.

Last time i changed helper settings was putting Avogadro on not helping anymore, that was 15km to the finish, after that i just put Schönflies in tempo and put in the sprint for some guys: Schönflies, Avogadro and stuff. My last action was to look at Joker to be sure he sprints and to be sure he isnt on helping accidently (happened to me some times too that i put the wrong guy on helping). And I am 100% sure he was on "no". After i saw the sprint i took a look at the tactics screen where it was on "no" still. And the helper settings dont change after the race. So i am 100% sure he didnt help (the other indicator of course was the 88sprinter just behind me - okay he could also have helped but its uncommon).

A bit strange too that Pimpi wins just that close but okay he would have 6points on Hushovd for sprinting earlier, so he is on +5, with form and power and mountain and luck it can be close ok, Lorenzoni should have +7 makes +5 and he is 3rd behind Husovd, okay makes sense and underlines that Hushovd had much luck again as yesterday and good form. Garda should just take a sprint puller

okay nochmal ich, es schein der Bergwert spielt doch dramatischer rein bei +1 als ich dachte, einfach mal schaun auf einen weiteren sprint:

Bei "normalen" Sprint hat Boboutanu keine Chance allein im Wind gegen einen stärkeren (gleichstarken) Sprinter an seinem Rad: ergibt in etwa 68 vs. 75, hier landet Boboutanu aber 3 Plätze vor Haydn

Mir kommt vor der +1 wirkt viel, viel zu stark

Then the random factor goes from 0 down to -6, so maybe Zurawski gets a 0 and is still a 74, Joker gets a -6 and is now a 77.

Maybe form bad for Joker and good for Zurawski? Then Joker is a 75 and Zurawski a 76 and there you have it.
But still does not explain Supertramp for sure.

Supertramp 70 (backwheel included) + good form maybe = 72.

So just three points, not seven or more. However, still three points, but i always thought that even these are not gettable at a +1.


Hushovd got the -9 too, but maybe just a -1 by random, so he still is an 82.

not able to read? if i had bad form i wouldnt post it here, Joker has topform within the tour and Supertramp doesnt seem to have the greatest after the sieb yesterday but ok. And where do you see them winning now

it was no sprint at 0...it was a minimal ascending last km....for exaple at a +3 every 6x sprinter is able to beat a 95 with enough difference at launching sprint...

sprints at ascending last km are strange...of course at descending last km too...

You were talking about supertramp, me about Zurirgendwas, but we both think in that case the 2 riders shouldnt have a chance to beat joker?

Well as far as I know a 1% never had SUCH a strong influence. Of course there is some, but I've never seen anything like that, and I guess I would have...

Maybe there is any link with buhman's latest modifications or tests or tempo-changes ?

At least I noticed the same problem in my race. 89 at 50m beaten by a 62 sprint.

Velo swore more than once that his sprinter was not helping another rider.

For sure, Ramon sprinted from 500 in someones wheel. Velos sprinter sprinted from 50m. Anyway:

59+6,5= 65,5
92-9-6=77

So even with full malus Velos sprinter is 12 points stronger than Peters rider. Ane NEVER his better hill value should compensate 12 points on a +2.

Power? Form? Last km was even, downhill, uphill?

And I always ask myself: How do you know the exact difference of the sprintskill between sprinting from 500m and from 50m?
