There is a new team (Thermodynamics), created yesterday and no competition yet, with a team value of: $20,708,155.
How is this possible?
(Does this have to do with the euro-dollar exchange rate? 
)

Its because of buying a rider with a reduced price. Kilian Waltz was bought for 1 Mio while he is worth 1,7 Mio

Cheapened riders.
In the past new teams were in a different division with a different market, no cheapened riders, but in react that has been abolished (wrongly IMO) so now new teams can buy cheapened riders too. Which IMO can be dangerous, contra-productive, since a genuine newcomer with no experience will often not get great results, but with cheapened riders his salary will be rather high, risk of mostly losing money, having to do a reset at some point. This guy's team though looks ok, shouldn't get into too much trouble.
Anyway, it's the cheapened riders.
Grr, somebody faster, but I added some thinly veiled criticism!

I thought reduced price was not possible in DIV6: wrong thought.
