Problem with Sprintsetting

I don't know if this issue is already known, but I've had it several times now and I don't think I accidentally changed the setting after 50 meters.
Today, for example, Hawerchuk went for Lafleur's rear wheel at 450 meters. Without changing the setting, he hung up after 50 meters. The setting was automatically lost, it seems.

Just one failed attack – but Hawerchuk wasn't on this rider, and Lafleur sprinted from the front.
In a race on the 08.04. it was the same problem in sprint.

That was one of my other thoughts. But Hawerchuk followed Lafleur at 450m...or the game prioritized the helping by Lafleur over following another rider but kept the setting for following thevother rider when the sprint started? If Hawerchuk had such a setting...

I know this problem with doing a own train and following other riders.
If I do my own train I switch off following other riders. Same I did this time at the last km.
Assuming the last km setting change didn't take place and I didn't notice it - then Hawerchuk wouldn't have followed Lafleur at 450m - or would he?

Not sure what you mean with "last km setting change"? What did you change last km? adding the helper settings for building a train? Then it is clear it worked. If you mean you cancelled Hawerchuk settings to follow another rider as well -> then it is not clear. If both settings are active, from my experience he is following the faster train, as this is calculated first, but it can be, that the following is then still active. Did he have a setting to follow another rider at 450 or just no wheel at all?

yes this with multi settings I know ...
meant - both riders, Hawerchuk and Lafleur, had settings to follow the same rider, which I deleteted at the last km.

No he was on Belaid, which had his own train - and Hawerchuk fell back behind him - so after the 50m he had no settings anymore

ok, then it looks like an unexpected bug to me
Maybe it has something to do with going from the race settings window to the sprint settings window—if I click too late, or the setting isn't selected - and after 50m there is an error setting
It's probably impossible to check now, right?
p.s.: but I remember that I lost setting in a sprint, but was able to set it without anything happening, because I checked it after first 50m

Perhaps as an addition, maybe help:
During sprint:
For me now two times happenend that i set settings (following) in one sprint window and when i switch two an other sprint group, system remembered my click and my rider from the first window now got following rules from the second sprint window.
(--> Sprinter in the 1. window follow now my sprinter in the 2. window/other sprint group, so sprinter in 1. window loose the before set wheel in his real group)
I'm currently playing with Chrome
