and a rider who was not in tempo and have no or less power like him wins???

31 power normally not enough to sprint at the intermediate, since it needs 50. Old sprint system was logic like that. I think. And intermediates are with the old system. But no guarantee that's correct, even if I'm relatively sure that was the case.

For reasons that nobody understands it's possible to sprint in the final sprint with less than 50 energy though.

Why then he doesn't win it with tempo is a bit of a mystery. Possibly the system thought he can't sprint, so don't count him in tempo either? Something like that.

and a few kilometers before on the 2nd Hill ... Connolly sprints 50 m with ca. 170 power and gets only 4th behind the 3 men in tempo.
Maybe here happened that power was to less to be infront of the 3 in tempo ... but 170 isnt really so less or?
