Buying sold riders on the transfer market

Did I miss something. Is it not allowed to buy riders that you sold some time ago? Did check some old riders of mine on the transfer market and saw, that none of them has the Buy now button.

Remember there once was a discussion when RideforMoney bought a youth rider very much overpriced sold it and rebought it later. So at least there was a time when this should work.

Or is it a bug related to a team name change?

Its funny because Baptiste Firiam could be bought now by me again, but Younes Banane not

Do you have a bid on him under the tab „bids“? I’ve had this with one rider I couldn’t buy or even bid on him. When I deleted the older bid (he was bought few month ago and I had a bid on him there), I was able to bid and buy again
