Stage classifications and bonifications
We have as far as I know at least still the:
- flat stage: 20"
- middle mountain 10"?
- mountain 0"
rule.
Derived from the TdF, which used to have something along this lines years ago, I think at least, not even sure. But... nowadays at the TdF there simply aren't any bonifications anymore.
So basically there isn't any race around that follows that system anymore.
Why not change it at RSF too? All stages with the same bonifications, 10-6-4 seems to be the most widespread Then 3-2-1 for intermediates. Just checked Belgium, Bayern, California, Norway, PN, TA, Catalunya. California seems to have had no bonifications, all others the 10-6-4 system.
Why not make this 10-6-4 at the finish, 3-2-1 at intermediates the standard here? Damn, forgot to check at mountain stages for all these things.... let's just suppose it's like that ok, no guarantee.
But 10-6-4 as standard would be a big step forward. Regardless of the stage classification. (which in reality is more for the time limit) Important races then can be adjusted by leso IMO.
Ideal would be that the designer puts in the bonifications for each stage himself... but since that probably takes time to implement, AND since most of the races just follow the 10-6-4 system... just put in 10-6-4 as standard for RSF.

Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!
Got a carrot from FL. But they threaten to take it away now.

+1. Pro realism.
I didn't mean to say it. But I meant what I said.

Re: Stage classifications and bonifications
would be OK for me.
If we can get a decision, I´ll adapt it to RSF.

Re: Stage classifications and bonifications
did you implement the new system already?

10-6-4
and 3-2-1 for intermediates...
MMh, we have a decision!
(I'm not really sure what you meant by that, decision by whom? Buhmann? You? The users?, but I claim we have one anyway)
So implement it!
Of course there are exceptions, Giro wiht 20 etc, Tour, Dauphiné and TdS with no bonifications. But most stage races just have this 10-6-4
Exceptions in important races like TdS and Dauphiné can be done by hand I think? But otherwise let's just go for this general 10-6-4 on all stages!
