Points for stages - stage races and one day races

Recently I had a look a the points for one day races and the points for stages in a tour. After looking at it for the second time, I realised that: cat. 1 one day races give less points than cat. 1 stages in a tour, while all the other categories favour the one day races much more (in points for the stage). The numbers:

- cat. 1: one day race: 96 points for a victory / stage in tour: 102 points for a victory
- cat. 2: 150 / 126
- cat. 3: 240 / 156
- ...

Now my question: why does cat. 1 stage in a tour give more points than a cat. 1 one day race? And: is that on purpose?

LCB and another guy with leso made this thing years ago. 6 years now I think. 3 idiots it seems.

The reason for this very strange thing if I remember correctly: At the time we had lots of one day races that were stages taken out of a tour. So, the "real race" in the stage race should give more than than the "copy" as a one day race. I think that was mostly lesos idea actually But let's blame LCB too. The third guy, ah, well let's forget him, no clue who it was anyway.

So there was some kind of a reason, yes. A reason that definetly doesn't count anymore. And it should be the opposite now.
So while I still think leso and LCB (but mostly the third guy) did a pretty good job in general, here clearly it's a mess.
CHANGE IT.
102 for a one day race (or making it 100 would be ok too) 96 for the win in a stage. (or making it 90 would work too)
