Ok, not much going on regarding nominations. So I nominate the GP de Papeete to be cat 3 instead cat. 2. I think it's nice to have a TTT as a real C4F classic.

Including that, we have the following nominations so far:

Add as cat. 2 C4F classic:
1 - Around Freetown (15.11.24)
1 - Bandar Lampung Cycling Cup (19.12.24)

Upgrade to cat. 3 C4F classic:
1 - Itabirito - Ouro Preto
1 - Jable - Al Farandis
1 - GP de Papeete

Downgrade to cat. 2 C4F classic:
1 - Kisoro-Kabale
1 - GP Canyon de Chelly

Cut completely:
1 - Grand Prix de Agadir
1 - Seychelles Vacation Race
I didn't mean to say it. But I meant what I said.

Grrr! My nominations from last year are being ignored! FL harassing the Donkey, not only threatening to take away that carrot, now also ignoring his nominations.
Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!
Basics reform: Give blue a chance!
Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!
Got a carrot from FL. But they threaten to take it away now.

As Team FL supports the idea of inclusion, we also include Donkeys with carrots (and of course also without, if that threat will get executed one day) with postings from last year:

Add as cat. 2 C4F classic:
1 - Around Freetown (15.11.24)
1 - Bandar Lampung Cycling Cup (19.12.24)

Upgrade to cat. 3 C4F classic:
1 - Itabirito - Ouro Preto
1 - Jable - Al Farandis
1 - GP de Papeete

Downgrade to cat. 2 C4F classic:
2 - Kisoro-Kabale
1 - GP Canyon de Chelly

Cut completely:
2 - Grand Prix de Agadir
1 - Seychelles Vacation Race
I didn't mean to say it. But I meant what I said.

To get involved and have a few more votes

I support
- cutting Seychelles Vacation Race (mainly for the naming of the race)
- upgrade Itabirito - Ouro Preto (to have a cat.3 pave offseason classic)

I oppose
- downgrade of Kisoro-Kabale (final 30km are too good to downgrade it and I want to test how you handle opposition to downgrades^^)
GIP MASTERPLAN
Gameplay: Flexible Min-Tact. Improve Sprint System. Windkante.
Marketing: Re-attract old players. Advertisement. Social Media.
New Players: Fair Start Budget, New Tutorial.
Fairplay: Improve FPC features, Fair Prize Money Disribution.

thanks. but how does opposition works? is it just -1 to the number of nominations?

Anyway, here the update. Tried to have a transparent count:

Add as cat. 2 C4F classic:
1 - Around Freetown (15.11.24) (nominated by 1 - opposed by 0)
1 - Bandar Lampung Cycling Cup (19.12.24) (1 - 0)

Upgrade to cat. 3 C4F classic:
2 - Itabirito - Ouro Preto (2 - 0)
1 - Jable - Al Farandis (1 - 0)
1 - GP de Papeete (1 - 0)

Downgrade to cat. 2 C4F classic:
1 - Kisoro-Kabale (2 - 1)
1 - GP Canyon de Chelly (1 - 0)

Cut completely:
2 - Grand Prix de Agadir (2 - 0)
2 - Seychelles Vacation Race (2 - 0)

Ok, I'll do it this way then:

I have a New proposal to test and see if it gets more People involved.

I want to add to the rules, only races that we've had as a cat2 at least 3 times can be proposed to become a cat3 classic. Since classics need to have some kind of history in cycling.
Same for downgrade and cutting probably? Wouldn't make any sense to make a race a cat3 this year than change it back to cat2 next year. so a years grace period.

For the votes, I want to make a poll, for voting up and down, to see if we can get more reactions. Maybe some don't like writing or don't feel like proposing stuff without agrumentations? Or are just lazy? So I'll make a poll and see how it goes.

We could use more nominations, but too lazy to propose anything.

I support the Papeete upgrade to cat3.

And oppose the two suggestions by Tukh, both lol. One is a plain circuit that we have similar races already, and the second lacks a sieb km to be interesting.

I have two proposals:

Tsukuba Cycling Cup 04/09/2024. Intersting first 40km, I like the race! 2/4 editions didn't end in a mass sprint.

Alexandrette - Antioche 30/10/2023. Looks like a great classic.

I protest due to weather concerns. It's Japan. Tsukuba in December (which seems when your Asia tour is on) is not really all that warm anymore either. A bit north of Tokyo, countryside, a bit higher elevation, if anything it's 2-3 degrees colder than Tokyo, where in December on a very good day it's 15 degrees, on a bad one 5. Then in the mountain... it could also snow. Not much, but a bit. For me out for weather reasons. Also it's not that great either.

https://timog.net/t/winter-climb-of-sno ... %B1%B1/173

Donkey re-proposes

Makete - Kylea: Former Winter classic, last ridden on 20.12.22, then booted out.
Rename Dolisie-Point Noire to Dolisie Pointe Noire.

Since Taka wants South America:
Gran Premio do Sao Francisco de Paula (9.2.2019) I don't know if a sprint is possible somehow in this profile. But it's less boring then the *possible sprint* Classics we had.
Nominated in 2020 by Taka. Just copied the argument why too.
Popaya - Santa Roza, (26.01.2021) for c4f classic next winter. Unfortunately very small groups, but at least during my race I thought that with a bigger group this might be a very interesting race, with the steep climbs then the 40 km flattish downhill at the end.
Old Donkey proposal
Padre Hurtado - Pudahuel 19.02.24

There's a big danger of an uncontested km 1 group coming through I think, but wasn't in my group, and then it can be a very interesting stage as well.
Another old Donkey proposal.

The problem of course is, if nobody else nominates the same.. .we're left without additions...
Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!
Basics reform: Give blue a chance!
Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!

I protest against your protest, Japan is October (Maybe early Novermber) not December.

I protest against more October fantasy classics!

But in case that protest is dismissed again I simply vote against that Tsukuba thing.

I think I was one of the people voting it out? It's a bad race not worth a classic.

Since Taka wants South America:
I don't actually, SA has the Andes and the Sprint tour aswell this year, deserves less classics.

Gran Premio do Sao Francisco de Paula (9.2.2019) I don't know if a sprint is possible somehow in this profile. But it's less boring then the *possible sprint* Classics we had.
Not sure how can one think a sprint is possible there? We have Trofeo Cali, this isn't needed!

I support Popaya if Gip can upload the race, if not then Padre Hurtado.

I wouldn't call it a pile of crap, but nothing all that special, and with the superb downhill pavé...Ok, for that it might be worth it. I think I'm done nominating, now only protesting, more people nominating would still be better!

Maybe El Triptico de Colombia: Trofeo de Cali can be renamed Trofeo de Cali only as it isn't a Triptico anymore ?

Absolutely, now that the designer also agrees on that, we should finally change it!
