Explanations for the surnames of my two cyclists in the Nations committee

Since I received a message from the Nations Committee, regarding the Greekness of the names of two of my athletes (Spiros Kovachev and Pantelis Fillipov), I would like to clarify the following:
In Greece there is a percentage of citizens with Greek citizenship who come from Eastern European countries. There are many names in sports and art with similar origins.
I created the specific names with my own generator of random Greek names and adjectives that come from a real list of telephone directories from the 80s. Indeed, 2 names of this type in a list of 9 names was a very strange coincidence, when in about 10000 total surnames it is unlikely to have more than 50 similar ones.
