Klon Zrncics?
Ok, there exists a Natko Zrncic-Dim, skier. And a Vedran Zrnic, Handball player.
Here a combination of the too. Is it a clone or not?
Natko Zrnic looks like a Zrncic clone for sure. But no Zrncic in the game, and Zrnic exists AND Chain believably claims that the origin of his Zrnic came from Zrnic, not Zrncic.

Also kein Schreibfehler oder dergleichen

So according to Chain his Natko Zrnic is a "clone" of Vedran Zrnic.
But that wouldn't be a clone. The comittee accepts, rightly so, Contadors with different first names. They actually accept a Francis Contador in Tuvalu (wrongly of course, in Tuvalu not ok) A guy with a famous family name and an ok first name is not a clone. Peter Ullrich is not a clone. Antoine Armstrong is not a clone. Gerald Schleck is not a clone. Why would Vedran Zrnic be a clone?
So why is he a clone?
1) Chaingang says: wanted Vedran Zrnic, exists, took another first name. True, there is a Vedran Zrnic in the game. Same age, both turned pro on 01.01.11. 50-50 that Vedran was first. And since Chain says than Vedran was taken, I think we can believe him. We can assume that Vedran was created before Natko. So his claim that he wanted a Natko Zrnic is believable. Shouldn't be cloned, and the comitee isn't claiming that's the reason either.
2 He wanted a Natko Zrncic but it was taken, so he left the c out. And is lying now. There is no Zrncic in the game, no retired Zrncic, no active Zrncic. So no, it's not a Natko Zrncic Dim clone with a c left out on purpose. A clone that should be stateless. But clearly Chain not lying and not the case.
3:the one Claw mentioned, spelling mistake. Possible. But when Claw mentioned it, Chain answered and said, no, it wasn't like that. I wanted Zrnic, but my first name was taken.
4: is it that his intention doesn't matter Zrnic, that the fact he didn't make a spelling mistake doesn't matter, the name being so similar to that of a famous (never heard of him, but then don't follow ski) person makes that name combination an automatic clone? Then why did you even bother to ask him if it was a spelling mistake? Even if Chain made a believable claim that he came to the name via another name?
Probably 4?
Ok, a bit stupid if later a Vedran Zrncic appears, true. Can be made stateless. But on the other hand, this Zrncic doesn't seem to be that huge, no? Plus Chain said he came to the name via the Handball player. Why not let him through? Or at least ask further questions, like "did you then chose Vedran because of the skier?". If he answers no, nothing changes.... if he answer yes, you have kind of made your case, kind of. But then that IMO would still be one of the cases that you could say, well, he first wanted the Handballer (and he has other handballers in his team) then went to the skier for the first name and kept the handballer second name, a bit unlucky result, but well... Chains names otherwise all ok (Diegoo was bought, shouldn't really count against him) let him pass. Why not?
