everybody who can read is able to see his real nation does not exist. So using that name is making a clone who will spoil all the lists forever, so he should be treated like all the other clones.

I dont understand you. If Goran Pandev would be a cyclist...ok, then we would need the real nation, because we are a cycling game. If he would be the best of his sport like a federer or messi...then ok. But it's just Goran Pandev. I'm interrested in football and just know he's playing anywhere in italy. Maybe Inter...maybe Parma, maybe Lazio...dont know exactly. He should be staatenlos instead of being serbian? In my eyes thats just ridicolous.

Treating all of them equal, it is nessessary to do so.

I think you are taking this a bit too serious. I understand that real people that everyone knows, should have only their original nationality. It would be ugly to see a German Tom Boonen or a Lance Armstrong from Belize. But somebody like Goran Pandev, who maybe 95% of all RSF players (or is it just me?) never heard of before, should at least be allowed to have some suitable nation, if the original nation does not exist in RSF. He then might be some kind of clone, but 95% of us will never even know, and we wouldn't spoil the game for the one who created the rider.

but for all the others waiting patiently for a nation to come into the game. So robbing them from the possibility to take that name when the right nation could be selected, it would be worth a punishment.

And I really don't think Serbia is siutable at this point. Historically, Turkey fits best, followed by Bulgaria, as Macedoina only was a part of Serbia for some like 50 years 800 years ago, but some like 500 a part of the osmanic empire and 300 a part of Bulgaria. Demografically, it's Turkey (as Albania doesn't exist, too). From the sound of the name it's Bulgaria. Serbia, doesn't fit at all.

The only problem I see with him as Serbian is that their was blood shed in the progress that seperated the Balkan nations from the Serbian reign of Yugoslawian times. It's a little bit like disrespecting the independency of Macedonia from Serbia.

that is not correct,luna...

the almost-civil war in macedonia was not a conflict between macedonians and serbs but a inner-macedonian conflict between macedonian security forces and an ethnic albanian liberation movement...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insurgency ... _Macedonia

there was no conflict and bloodshed at all with serbia/rest-yugoslawia ,when macedonia declared it's independence in 1991...

right now there are about 65% slavic macedonians and 25% albanians living there...

Ok, thanks for the info. In fact it seems to have been the only peaceful seperation, that took place during the break-up of Yugoslavia ( http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sozialisti ... Mazedonien ). Nonetheless it was not a totally free choice to be administered by the Yugoslavian Federation, although it kept a largely independent status. So no blood. But as well no historical relation of choice to Serbia respectively Yugoslawia.

But I don't care much about the issue regarding this rider in RSF.

Wow, der schreibt zum Thema! Moderne Technologie!

John Hartson isn't from Ireland, but from Wales, so GB. Please change.

Yes, no one can imagine a person called John Hartson to be from Ireland.
