Maybe it is possible to make this variable.
So the designer can decide how many riders. I suggest four up to ten.
I think especially for the big sprints (imagine Le Tour with 22 Teams) only six riders side by side are not suitable.

usually the road has space for more than 6 riders, but on some stages - especially in the mountains... not.
also some sprint finishes have narrower parts and then wider again. maybe the road doesn't need the same width for all of the sprint.

Would be easy to implement. But i have to look ho many rows would be possible to display in the window.

with scroll and last test wasn't immediate to see the riders (all the train was on bottom, so seems nobody sprints until you scroll)

Refresh your flash application/browser. Now there are 8 lines, maybe that is the reason because you have the problems.

it's not a problem, Buh. Just in my browser i don't see all the 8 lines at the same time. There is the vertical scroll, but if the sprint happens on bottom, at the immediate we don't see anyone. Or maybe it's only for me.

I think this is because you use the old flash version. So try to refresh the whole flash application. Maybe close your browser and open it again.
