Chat deaktivation

Is it possible to crate a chat deaktivation that i can klick on a field and the chat get deactivated so that everybody now i won´t read because soemtimes i don´t want to read all the bullshit in the chat but had to read it because somebody could write me sth interesting for the race.

If it´s not to difficult i really want to have this :D
