He has a 3D version of the game, I want it too!
The main influence of the weather (meteo) is that riders lose more energy. And with rain you can do downhill siebs.

Re: Meteo
Hot weather or cold weather = big energy loss per km.
Rain = extra energy loss per km. The more rain, the higher the loss; per km
Backwind = good for escapees, headwind = bad for escapees (plus effecting the energy cost for making tempo)
Strong rain (= 3 rain drops under the cloud) = possibility of splitting the field on high(!) degrees of downhill (only when a strong downhiller makes tempo).
Have I forgotten something?

Time-Trial: Risk has more influence, when it rains.

Maybe he asks about Buhmanns most fantastic innovation ever?
Animated rain? Can be changed under profile, and has no influence whatsoever on anything.

Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!
Got a carrot from FL. But they threaten to take it away now.

Re: Meteo
You do, for sure. It works only with strooooong rain. And only at steeeep descents.NoPikouze wrote:I don't think you need STRONG rain to make a split
Re: Meteo
Thank you guys for the reply.. yes "Meteo" is the weather don't remember this
Didn't understand well the split whit downhill and rain the rest is ok

Re: Meteo
Okay, then once again a little more in detail:
When the weather is "heavy rain" there is a chance to split the peloton at a downhill (which is not possible without heavy rain). When the descent is around 9%+ and a strong downhill rider (78+) is in tempo, the weak downhill riders can be dropped.

Re: Meteo
It's a bit like at a steep climb. If it rains heavily and a strong downhiller sets the pace, then the field falls into peaces. The better downhiller in the first groups and the weaker downhillers get dropped.Pirkio wrote: Didn't understand well the split whit downhill and rain the rest is ok
But that happens only once in a while .You will experience it sometime.

Re: Meteo
the weak downhill riders you mean, climbing has nothing to do with that. And if you want to write exactly, the siebing rider does not only need a good downhill value, he too has to be fit.
and Luna, it happens very few. Since I returned last year I never saw any race with a downhill sieb.

You've to watch my races !and Luna, it happens very few. Since I returned last year I never saw any race with a downhill sieb.
Everbody's os always siebing the OL's leaders in Downhill !
In the past that was for Lhotellerie, SantaCruz or Grandlac. And now, it's for Chellis
I hate this downhill rule
Re: Meteo
I like to do them
Ok much less since I've a classic rider with 53 downhill...
About the heavy rain, i'm convinced I saw someone say "wow I thought it worked only with heavy rain" after a sieb (with light rain)... Must be my imagination, since I would not question your experience.

Re: Meteo
Maybe the weather changed to 3 rain drops exactly the km of the selection after a long period of 2 rain drops.
Or maybe it was only a rider with 45 downhill and 50 energy who got lost. Might be that those guys would get dropped even under 2 rain drops.
