Additional User Information

As you might have seen, with 1.28.0 we added two new pieces of information for users:

1. Acronym: a three-letter acronym for each user / team, which will be used wherever there's not enough space to put the full name and where an unambiguous name is not really needed. The current acronyms are generated from the user name, but feel free to change in your profile settings
2. Forum Account: your name here in the forum - I set the forum names of the most active teams in the game and the forum, which I remembered. Fee free to correct it, delete it or add it, if it's missing for you. This can also be done in profile settings.

And for the acronyms, if you have any good ideas where to use them, feel free to share here. At the moment you can see it in the following places

• Team Overview page
• Team classification in race
• Team Statistics
• Profile

A question to the Acronym ... i see that some have only 2 Letters!

i want to change my name (BER - looks like Berlin or something) into BW ... but it doesn't work because i need 3 signs.

Another possiblity would be B_W or B*W or BW_ - but it isnt allowed - only Letters or Numbers.

so how i could get a BW ?

Ah, I thought blank in the middle might be allowed, sorry. The ones created initially sometimes have this (just because they were automatically created, like "R Q")

You could use BW1 for example? Just an idea.

We can also re-think the rules for this acronym.

For now, it's no problem.

Because we don't use it for anything important.

Maybe in the future, they have to be unique (no acronym twice). But it depends, how we use them.
