I came late and ended up picking Russia, could be a very interesting finish with the 7% so close to the end.

I cant believe Luques did this?! why there is no notification abt the starting time of inscription?
It is not fair!

I would preferred a message before hand about when it was opening, since usually there is a schedule of what time which division me can take a team. But oh well.

It is not fair!
it's open since yesterday evening, and some people talked about it in the general chat
a "news" on front page would have been ok, but it was the same:
- without announce, it's random: the people clicking first on the tab choose the teams first
- with announce, it's random: the people connected first/seeing first the news, choose the teams first.
so no "fairness" issue IMO
OK, this is not the first time when Idefix posts some illogical ideas...but I am trying to explain.
I think nobody expects official info on the chat where there are a lot of stupid discussions, questions etc
I was expecting this important notification to be posted on the forum or on the news tab
by Luques or whoever is the boss here!
With or without an announce would not have been the same!
By posting an announce on 21st of September abt the starting time of inscription you give the chance to a lot of teams to see this message and be online when the inscription starts. So by not posting an official message RSF BIG BOSS does not give me the chance to be online when the inscription starts and this is not fair in my opinion.
Not that my point of view would matter for the RSF BIG BOSS but this was a proof of very bad management of an important event...

It was a very big mistake done by the actual game management. This is clear and not even Idefix (probably the self appointed defender of the game managers) can deny it or diminish the injustice done!
Nothing is going to be improved by hiding "the trash under the bed" ..
And I dont care if it happens since the management of the game did not give us equal chances to choose an important team.
Luques did his best but it was not enough! That's why he has Poke!
How much time can you spend to write a short message on forum or on the news tab? 30 secs-2 min max!
And this is not the 1st time when this happens this "way".

1) I didn't know when selection was open.
2) I can't write message on news in the game.
3) Big Donkey is the calendar assistant of Luques, it wasn't my problem if there was no message in news as I didn't really plan to ride it.

I wonder what you would do when you were almost the only one doing the programming part. Programming al those things for WC + trying to avoid other bugs is very difficult... Especially alone. Maybe beginning earlier with the organisation would be better, but you should have some respect for Luques for all the time he spends on the game!
(I wish I could help Luques, but I've never worked with java etc. and I don't know if my pc can handle all of that ^^)

I am a perfectionist!
Either make everything perfect or stop doing it ! even if the consequence would be to let the game die!

I'm rather new here, but I'm sure you're interested in my 5 cents.

I'm not sure if you're serious with the statement above, but I'm sure not many users here would agree with it. At least I prefer the chance to play this game with sometimes imperfect information and maybe a bug here and there over not being able to play it at all. Otherwise I could always make that decision for myself and quit...

An info would have been nice, but I agree with what Idefix wrote.

I give you more just to stop writing useless messages! Your opinion on this is irrelevant for me.
I am quite sure 90% of the managers dont even know the name of your team...but even if you have nothing important or relevant to express you continue to write useless messages on the forum.
The management should admit it was a mistake and should pay more attention in the future ..or the management should explain how this will work in the future...predictability is very important in my opinion.

You are free to offer your help. And you have a trend to forget that Luques has a life and that it isn't the game who pay him all his time working on C4F
