Although the race has altready started, a race thread seems appropriate also for 9h. Thus, with a short delay, Team FL presents its line-up for this marvelous piece:

x1 Stéphane Antiga, likes to EAT frogs
x2 Kenny Banzer, likes to EAT Ribl
x3 Stefano Benni, likes to EAT Pasta
x4 Benni Büchel, likes to EAT Tatsch
x5 Victor Fargas, likes to EAT seafood
x6 Jean Ollé Ollé, likes to EAT couscous
x7 Gaudenz Taverna, likes to EAT capuns
x8 Xaver Unsinn, likes to EAT Wurst
x9 Walter Walch, likes to EAT Kratzate

No special goal. Be not completely broke afterwards perhaps...

1 Luca Nervi (30, Italien), Kapitän
2 Johan Vanelst (31, Belgien), Edlehelfer
3 Jörg Heimbach (31, Deutschland), Edelhelfer
4 Mats Nilsson (30, Schweden), Helfer
5 Roland Bärmlich (28, Deutschland), Helfer
6 Dirk Felnner (29, Deutschland), Helfer
7 Ruben Creel (32, Luxemburg), Zeitfahrspezialist
8 Rick Hauer (30, Deutschland), Helfer
9 Thomas Stammbach (28, Deutschland), Helfer

now we present our team for this tour:

1. liam short - our fastest guy in team - maybe he has a chance for green
2. alex snowwhite - to weak for a classic guy - only helper
3. ron slowly - impotant helper for the sprint-train
4. peter guinees - attackes for the escape
5. lian norris - young-tt-riders - for two day white - otherwise helper
6. mikel shera - the old man - vip-helper for the sprint-train
7. mario vidal - classic rider with no breath - don`t know what he do in the team
8. mitch lefebre - attackes for the escape
9. tom banks - our captain  - we hope for tank 15 in the gk

one stage win for user team is a good start, we hope, is was not the only one and the team makes the sponsors happy, so we will make a little bit money.

GW for the stage. Feared this would happen. But nice to see you work for Short. He must have been waiting for this for a very long time :)

Dammit! Third time only second... Grrr.... 1 second to the stage win and the mountain jersey, two points to the points jersey and only 6 seconds to the GC leader's jersey. Team Vizestein, or whatever. Besides that, the stage was mainly boring as no group could get a decent advantage before the final climb. Furpach even waiting around half a minute for Lefebre with Snowwhite. Guess that was a regneration-thing? But besides that, two things surprised me: 1.) Speedbiker is not riding for Ben, not even hanging on Nervi and hence losing time already today. 2.) Instead riding together as announce, he attacks at the 7 with Barak Sope and thus missing a possible stage win, that was caught by Squeeze with a well timed attack at the 7 and already good work in the peloton. The second winner is Team Ruhrgebiet obviously, getting yellow from his own rider and gaining time on all other possible GC-opponents. Question will be, how fit his team is for tomorrows up and down at the Ngorongoro crater and how many riders can concentrate on the race instead of admiring the impressive wildlife inside the crater.

yes, most time boring race, but without a really gk-leader, most teams have interest to reach the finish first and the attackers have no good cards. attack from snowwhite to early, the danger of ride under reg. is more important against the very small chance of winning the stage, tomorrow the stage is more important i think, where i need a fit snowwhite.

congrats squeeze for winning the stage und ruhr for make a step of winning the gk.

great win from team fl. sitted by sk, gw, but is it the sense of the game, that a average 08/15 team-manager be sitted from a 1-a top-manager for win a the race. in my eyes is that a mode of multi-teams, i can not accept this :D!!!

Confusing stage today. Must be the heat around that region. First Radunion has a sitter (ATB, who likes to talk about languages it seems) of the sitter (Aux), then the sitter (Aux) is online but asks his sitter (ATB) to ride on. Then, suddenly, another sitter (Ape) talks about insulting FL and in the end the sitter online (ATB) sleeps and misses the crucial action in the final climb. So Squeeze (without sitter!) wins the stage, gets yellow and defends red. Team FL keeps green, now back to Unsinn. Don't know if Ollé Ollé should win it back on Wednesday. In the meantime, Gaudenz lost some minutes in the GC but still the top10 in sight. Tomorrow is the TTT in Zanzibar, where Squeeze should be able to keep yellow. Unfortunately, Team FL has to skip the spice tour due to the tight schedule made be lesossies...

That is the way I am feeling if bw is sitted by ptt

Yes, but I was more wondering about the performance of Ruhr. He can count his blessings that the other (e.g. Speedbiker) utilised that.

4th in a TTT! Maybe the best TTT result ever for Team FL. weee! Besides that, Ruhrgebiet won it an Nervi is back in yellow. The stage win could have been Squeeze's, but he did the mistake and waited twice for Langeleben. In the end he could at least overtake Speedbiker. So the GC did change a bit according to the result today, that spit out Nervi as the even clearer favorite than before, if that is possible.

Cool dude this Ruhr, he one a stage! And before that FL one many stages? I want to one too! Onning is very nice! Of course others, well, only SM maybe, are more interested in money than in onning, but for most of us a one is more important then money. Because a one is a one!
But how are the chances for Taverna to one EAT now? Haven't looked at the results yet... and while my wife is yelling EAT right now, I fear she means something different... so have to go otherwise she will add a b to that word and do it to me.

No chance for Taverna neither one won stage nor the GC. Nothing to one for him, lost too much on the stage yesterday. And even the final ITT will most probably be one by Creel. Then he will have one two stages. And you always seem to make me hungry, or want you to b+EAT. Btw, is this covered advertising? -> http://www.b-eat.li/index.php?id=451

Zülle! After more or less boring stage with a boring group who did not give everything although being in a very good decision, Zülle from ONCE won today's stage in the sprint royal. He was the only sprinter that tried it early, with no other one hanging on him besides Gaudreac wieth 69 sprint, who got second. In the points classement, Unsinn is still in front of Short but equal in points, having Benni and Ollé Ollé in the waiting position. Will be interesting to see who will make it in the end.

Bah, I should have attacked with Fargas and Benni before the final 6. Grrrr... Thought Unsinn would be strong enough, but Vanelst was stronger in the end. Don't know if Sope's hanging cost some seconds in the attack, but I always disklike off-hangings when it's not about the GC. Anyway. Nothing new for GC, red or white. Green changed from Unsinn to Benni. Tomorrow then another chance, which is unfortunately much harder then today. More like something for the climbers. Still grrr...
