Only 7 teams again, at least this time I shouldn't win all jerseys.. actually even one would be surprising..

But, cool tour, deserves a thread I decided.

Very nice win by alverde today... .RVB and Petit Singe killed to many riders first, RVB for red, Singe with strange attacks that were followed.. then when alverde went with 2 fit guys, no chance to get him. Or not no chance, but we went with the wrong riders too long... Downhill, Ben Fatto and Gong, both deadish, should have gone with Sekiguchi-Chappelle there.. wouldn't have lost 5" per km like that... from 35" after the attack the advantage went up to almost 1'20".. then flat slooowly back. Last climb then... wrong tactic in the end.. .I hoped for an attack by Colana, Legrand follows.. Ramirez goes on his own, maybe Aveiro follows.. grrr, Colana didn't go, so Ramirez alone... to weak, 9" missing. With Legrand... .probably enough, probably. Or just sieb the 6.. but then the problem is 2 things for me.. what after the sieb? Brown and Colana with sprint there can't ride with Legrand.. so... no win for Legrand today.. who was actually the nr 1 today, fitter than Ramirez, in doubt he had 2 helpers... grr. Ramirez not good enough for the win either.

GC will be Talent from RAde vs some Russian from alverde, the purer classics... would be surprising.. the purer TT guys, there's really only one, and 50 mountain normally just too little here. Mmh, maybe a Ramirezsieb at the 6 would have been good for a GC challenge, then very likely Radeberger and alverde would have lost more time, much more in Rades case if Brown then rides for the stage win.. But ok, even with a minute to Alverde today... still over 2' missing for Ramirez and Legrand. getting that in the other GC stage sounds a bit too hard.

But as I said, very cool first stage, dead riders everywhere, let's see what happens tomorrow... normally rastullah shouldn't have to many problems getting a sprint even without any help.. rest is too dead really. at least the apes. Sprint then of course Markku will win!

Triple GC win, yeah!!
Since I opened a topic... blah...
First day was very cool, only 7 teams but all online at one time or another. The rest was.... shit.
Ape-Rastullah-Bier: Online every day. Good boys and apes.
rvb: Missed day 2, day 3 (no settings either), and came in halftime through day 4. First a sitter, then himself. Day 5 towards the end again. Still ok, can happen. Too bad about no settings for the TT though.
alverde: was there for the second day, then missed almost the whole 4th day, the GC day. Came on in the flat part 10 km from the end. Last day similar, the last few minutes there.
Cash and Radeberger: didn't have another online stage and were kicked on the last day. Radeberger with TT settings, Cash not I think.

Sucks, because even if we were only 7, the first stage started well, fun race, hard race. And IMO it was an excellent profile. Yeah yeah, I like praising myself anyway, but this time have to praise myself more, think with a nice 15 teams group this could have been a very good tour, first and fourth day hard GC racing, 2 easy sprints normally, one TT, especially day 4 with onliners could have been an excellent multifront fight, different GC contenders profiting and being hurt by stage chasers etc. But no... mini group. At least I bugged myself to another big financial win. By now in November and December I probably have gotten close to 1 milion thanks to the GC money bug (points might be similar, but if nothing happens won't check. Ah, 886'215 if my calculation is correct. Thanks Bugman! We only now of the bug since 08!
